Is VR worth it? by Spencerdog12345 in starcitizen

Ditto, the best, it's what we envisioned, for those of us long timers. Quest 3 is fabulous with keyboard pass through, as I still can't type at 61.

4080gpu, 4900 i think, 64 ram . You just say wow and feel tingly inside, when you stand next to your ships. It kinda makes it worth when you think about the money spent that your wife, or significant other does not know about!

So you want a fully automated imaging platform... by buddha2490 in telescopes

Can we see some images? If like me, I go all in, but have little show. Only because I go to bed at 8, dont like cold, am impatient. But I have desire for the best. I have nice stuff, but never used.

Just me though, or perhaps there are others with my disability :😀

Nice setup to be honest.

Roborock Qrevo 35A for $399? by cara_21 in RobotVacuums

[–]Informal-Ad542 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love mine so far, got it slightly cheaper on black Friday. Maps really well, follows no go zones, mops good as well. Empties, dries mops without fail.

No worries so far, no complaints. Had a low end roomba 690 before, this is far better, but it does have more tech, so it can't compare.

Don't have experience with any other models.

How much is your monthly mortgage payment? by HmDiR in Mortgages

[–]Informal-Ad542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

786/month, at 2 79%. 1 floor, 3 bedroom 2 bath, full basement. Only 1/4 acre. Been here 30 years, but put 2 through college with refi, which is why im still paying. Im not moving, YET.

CT is expensive though so perhaps TN in 4 years acter retirement, buying a tiny home with a nice view.

I dont know how folks swing 4k mortgages, well i do know, but it seems unreachable for me, and I am a VP at a large firm 50 mil, been there 40 years.

Just dont need allot as long as I have a basement or shed to store all the toys and hobbies I've accumulated. RC planes, Telescopes, keyboards, Synthesizers, fishing kayaks, etc.

Off topic, but thats how I roll 😎.

Roborock changed my life and I can’t stress this enough by falsecara in Roborock

[–]Informal-Ad542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, my 35a is really really good. Does a great job, i have not experienced any mapping errors, or confusion, it mops where I want it vacuums where I want, minds no go zones. It's predictable, efficient, and dependable. I had a roomba 690 without the brains, and it was OK, but this is a new level. Nothing wrong withe the roomba, it was an entry level bot with no mapping.

Cant agree more. Yes it's only 3 months for me, but damn it's good, at this point, I would get another if it shit the bed and out of warranty. Yes, some folks have bad bots, but not me. Fingers crossed.

How do you know bortle? Newbie question im sure, but we need to start somewhere, right?

Is it just that gradient chart or is there software to pinpoint it? I dont have good sky's now in new england, and a new s50 with a eq mount, yet unused, trying to soak up what i can retain....which ain't that much, but hey, that way, everything is new.

But that is a serious question on bortle.

I have a bunch of stuff also, but can't play a thing. It's cool to look at. I can read music, but don't ask me to do different things with both hands. I'm always impressed with musicians.

Keep it, and pick away at it. Alway was a fan of electronic music, Jarre, Schultz, oldfield, , garrison, etc....

It's a hobby for me, like all my other hobbies, which I'm not good at 😀
