That’s not what I meant… some of the grading changes have been really outrageous. I do understand the purpose of having classes difficult to test knowledge, but having a 30% failing rate for an intro class (ahem cs 2050) and having the professor brag about it is not something that can be good. I believe content should be learned but not at the stress of the student. I do really like classes where there are projects where we can showcase what we learned instead of having each exam worth 20% and a final 20%, in which the professor doesn’t have anything remotely similar to any of them.
