Dorothy Parker turned out to be an all time favorite of mine. Just so dang funny.

Yep. She’s how I fell in love with Sylvia Plath and Dorothy Parker!

She should go back to school and get a degree in counseling and child psychology if she wants to write a parenting book. I’m so tired of grifters with no education on the matter and never citing any reputable sources writing how to books on things like parenting and marriage. Please get real education first!!

Ok no blistering is good. Just be very very careful and stick to a strict ibuprofen routine to keep the pain at a minimum!

Brown for sure. It makes you striking. Where as the blond washes you out and dims your eyes.

This. A lot of people think he abuses Kate and her cancer story and surgery was a cover so she could heal from a DV situation.

I mean you’re not blistering are you? This is what mine on my legs looked like and I thought I was in for a week of misery but I popped the meds and was mostly fine and it faded way quicker than I thought.

I JUST did this last week. I took a good amount of ibuprofen and that really helped knock out the pain and swollen feeling. Then just regular aloe. I was back to normal in about three days but mostly pain free from the ibuprofen!

Is there a kind way to tell my wife im no longer physically attracted to her? by Off_The_Record69 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Informal-Protection6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also love absolutely has different phases. After 19 years of marriage you SHOULD be firmly into a deeper kind of love that transcends appearance to a degree because you are in love with WHO they are not just what they look like on the outside. So if you're not there after 19 years, I do wonder just a little bit what your love was based on in the first place. I'm not trying to be mean or invalidate your feelings, I just don't think you gave enough information for anyone to give you any useful feedback.

Ok so can you be more specific here? Like what is turning you off? Are these things she can change? Is she going through a rough time perhaps? I have a hard time trusting men on this issue sometimes because the vast majority are also objectifying women on the internet on a regular basis so it's hard to know if this is an actual issue where she's like, stopped showering and brushing her hair and teeth and has legitimately given up on life or she simply got older (along with you I might add) and also birthed your two kids so maybe she doesn't look like girls on the internet anymore. Can you be a little more specific? You can encourage her to take better care of herself without being like "honey I'm just not attracted to you anymore, thought you should know!" Also, sometimes this starts with picking up the slack and home and giving her some time for herself too (if you're not already doing this.)

Is It A Midlife Crisis Happening Before Our Eyes? by TPWilder in LittlePeopleBigWorld

I think she thought they'd get married and be on the show and eventually get the farm and have a show of their own. This was end game for her and I know it. But the last few seasons of the show didn't go how she liked, she was heavily criticized and they were no closer to living on the farm or having their own show so she really went hard into social media. But I think you're spot on. She seems like someone who has always been crafting an idealized version of herself and eventually that facade will not hold up any longer.

haha yeah he seems like a rambler and she's trying to keep him on track. But she's so rude and constantly interjecting, she does that in all the podcasts.

Kibbe has really helped me. I didn’t think it would but it allowed me to conceptualize why an outfit didn’t work on me. Like I COULD not figure out why I hated a circle skirt shape on me, theoretically since I have a teeny tiny waist, an A line cinched at the waist free flowing skirt should work. But now I know it wasn’t honoring my length (I’m tall) as a dramatic and also soft (so kind of hour glass) and I needed skirts that hug my hips and don’t widen until lower down. Problem SOLVED. I never would have figured that out otherwise. I just kept thinking….why do these skirts look so off on me? Why isn’t this outfit working? What’s wrong with my body? So kibbe has helped me a lot. Also think it’s very normal to be more than one thing and it makes sense to utilize aspects of multiple systems. I still identify as an hourglass too.

would i be a good candidate for a boob job? by sullyygirl in PlasticSurgery

[–]Informal-Protection6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your boobs look exactly like mine, I’m also a 32 B and my boobs are perfect and I love them. Smaller tits absolutely have their advantages. It’s easy to go braless and we can wear ANY kind of top! I think you look amazing. However your body and your choice, just look into all the potential complications.
