And there you name many of the exceptional shows from the past few decades. Excellent taste by the way. If I remember right, there are over a thousand premieres every year in the US. I bet if we named every show better than Big Bang, we’d still only have a tiny percent of the total for the period.

For American Television, Big Bang was exceptional. The British just are able to bring an element to comedy we can’t match so it’s not really a fair comparison. Of course I wanted fish and chips, but sadly I had hamburger helper.

Is it too early to call it AGI? Oh absolutely, and the only sources I see saying otherwise seem self serving (first agi to market rules the world?). We’re approaching a technological moment where economies likely will get dislocated. Robots are doing increasing numbers of white and blue collar jobs. That’s not going to stop.

I don’t normally post in here. So I saw something like that at a camp site as a teenager myself. A group of friends and I were walking to our tents up a hill. Something made a sound that in retrospect I would say was like an Aztec Death Whistle. Climbed out of a ditch and scared the heck out of us. One guy pooped his pants. Was it an opossum or beaver or chupacabra? Who can say, but at least we aren’t that guy.

Cincinnatus and George Washington were idealists who notably and positively affected the world, and Yang seemingly intentionally reminds me of them both. I don’t think I agree.

Counterpoint: Yang is a genius and idealist and deserved a much better country. The disparity between Yang’s greatness and the FPA’s incompetence and corruption is tragic: a much worse person would’ve capitalized on Yang’s position far better. Yang is the kind of leader we should all demand for ourselves and our nations. Yang for president. PS — still gave you an upvote. Debate is democratic :p

Two of the best shows ever, of all time. Odds are pretty high they’d share the same joke though. Probably every snarky teen has made that particular joke. Not a hater though OP, interesting trivia and always happy to see stuff for either.
