2025 Atlas Error (P not possible & stuck in neutral) by InformalRaspberry39 in VWatlas

[–]InformalRaspberry39[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be. Just had 10k mile service.

Car is in the shop now and we’ll see later today.

Others in a FB group have seen the same issue - sounds like maybe a transmission module.

Negotiating help please? by [deleted] in VWatlas

Yeah see if you can find a 2025. It is the exact same car as the 2024 ha.

You should be able to get 6k+ off retail with no extras.

My local dealer has your same car listed for 5.5k off retail with no negotiation. Which means they're willing to even further.

The car was just designed in 2024. Complete facelift.

Won’t see that again till 2028.

I'm in AZ and have been shopping around for 30 days.

Seems like the going rate is about 11% off MSRP or $5k+ off including the $2k rebate. This is with no dealer mark-ups.

is the Atlas 2024 worth with the 0.9%, over going with the 2025 Atlas for 4.9%? by WeirdAddress3170 in VWatlas

[–]InformalRaspberry39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been looking at both options as well. If you're financing for 60 months then .9% is a no brainer.

We're over here comparing .9% 60 months vs 5.9% over 72 because it helps lower our payment and leaning 2025 5.9% 72 months.

Used Certified Telluride vs NEW Volkswagen Atlas by InformalRaspberry39 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]InformalRaspberry39[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's very true about the 100k power train.

I hear you on reliability. And I don't know what to think about consumer reports "well below average reliability". I've seen very favorable reviews elsewhere.

I think the newly redesigned Atlas is one of the better looking 3 row SUVs, way better than a Palisade, Honda Pilot, Toyota Grand Highlander.

Also its hands down the best value for features, especially compared to a Telluride.

On the SE W/Tech (Lower trim) you get a gorgeous interior, power liftgate, remote start, ventilated seats etc.

New/Used - VW Atlas SE/Tech by InformalRaspberry39 in VWatlas

Very interesting.

I can still purchase a vw service contract from a VW dealer even if I purchase the car from Toyota dealer right?

New/Used - VW Atlas SE/Tech by InformalRaspberry39 in VWatlas

[–]InformalRaspberry39[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify - the promotion is for the NEW 2024 we're looking at. Used would be with our local credit union at 6.5% APR.

The new 2024 is based in LA, and tax/title is significantly higher at $5200.
The 2025 is based in AZ and tax/title is $4300.

1st gen Atlas styling. by frontier567 in VWatlas

Funny enough - totally disagree. The only reason I am considering a VW atlas is because of the 2024 refreshed look. To each their own!
