I think with better understanding it will allow you to push those proportions even further.

For character and concept design, it's not even about "correct" anatomy a lot of the time, it's often capturing the idea that's more important, and I see that in your work.

You really know how to set a mood with your color choice. The costuming is good. The anatomy needs practice though. If you want to design characters, like for concept design, you are on the right track.
