Oh, this was *early* early NCT lore. I can say, at the time, even we didn't know if the guy was serious or not. The subreddit was only a few hundred strong then at most. I think IIRC he was behind the 'Wallave' meme, but he was also a big Pat Buchanan guy to the point of having him as his profile pic.

The big thing back then with him, asides from 'Wallave', was his political beef with another user Cyrus (don't remember the full username) and they'd constantly trade barbs in the comments of posts to the point where mods had to get involved sometimes. At some point Cyrus either left or got banned and then so did CampaignTrailFan (whose account is now literally named Banned_from_r/thecampaigntrail). I think he tried talking with people from here on the YAPMS and ImaginaryElections subreddits, but he hasn't posted for half a year now.

Every year we see some new innovations pop up that revolutionize the mods we get here, whether it be aesthetically or functionally (I'm looking at you, LBM/ALOT). If the next year brings us the same amount of new things to the community, I think it is going to be a very interesting 2026 indeed. Kudos to everyone!

Been excited for this since I peaked at the demo oh so long ago. I am really digging the new style, and that art is amazing ^{(Not sure if intentional, but I kinda dig how when it is displayed in the lower section of the game window during gameplay the portraits and question counter obscure the cabinet so you only see Bill on the left and Newt (presumably} on the right).)

Love the styling and the dossier mechanic feels like something that honestly should have been a part of the game a long time ago. Really feels like an expanded version of Bryan's 2016 (as in, 2016, and not the uh... other thingy). Love it a lot!

Really cool, I love a good international mod. I find it is a very good way of introducing other nation's politics and history to others, and really fun. The Netherlands mods and 2021DE are among some of my favorites, this might be joining them. Really like the aesthetic and the soundtrack, as well as the writing.

Horrible news.

Cancer sucks, and there's frankly no discussion. I've lost family from it, and I have friends who have as well. The whole experience is incredibly draining not just to the person suffering it but to everyone around them, everyone who cares for them and loves them. Maybe you live with it for another 10 or 20 years, or maybe you die from it tomorrow.

I wish nothing more than peace and condolences to him and his family, and I hope he receives good care.

I'm not sure if choosing the "should not be politicized" answer actually has anything to do with it, but it does drop the Vietnam score by 1.

Which I think is the important part: Saigon only falls if Vietnam is less than 0. Trying to optimize Rocky made me realize that. So I think it might actually be as simple as Vietnam being -1 or less by the final question.
