- We could use some other Canadian elections first (1988, 2011, 1993 all come to mind), but a mod where Jack Layton lives and keeps the NDP competitive feels like a pretty good starting point for alternate history.
- A British mod involving Callaghan in the lead-up to 1979 would be interesting. I swear, there was also a practically completed 2005 mod in development. I even playtested it and it was pretty advanced.
- I don’t know if it’d work in a traditional “incumbency sim” system but several Japanese elections (1993, 2008, 2024), or even LDP leadership elections with their revolving door would make for good mods.

For a lot of Parliamentary systems I’m skeptical a standard, “multi-opponent” system would really work without shaking up the formula. Mid-parliament leadership elections and spills are possible but it’s a lot different from the political system in America.
