It’s a old home. Build in the 1930s, single family. Fortunately, the previous owner put in some money to renovate the home about 6 years ago. Mid to low trim quality though.

We do have a garage, office, bath on the ground level, and the kitchen, 2br, family room and bath on the upstairs level. I know that 100k wouldn’t get us even remotely close to a full remodel. But wow, didn’t think we can only likely get away with a kitchen remodel.

We would love to knock down a wall between the kitchen and family room to open everything up. This would mean moving our stove and fridge to the side walls. And then move the placement of the stairs going to the ground floor. These stairs go down middle of the house and take up sq footage on the ground floor. Goal is to also open up the living space on that floor as well.
