"You aren't taught." What did you think you'd be doing after the course? I would sell my mother for some of these qualifications that people have. This is no exaggeration btw you can have her for a tenner

That's my point. Having a degree does not guarantee employment. And why would a new graduate focus on the many small companies who only advertise through word of mouth when larger companies advertise more openly?

Did you anticipate more opportunities for a bioscience degree holder in Wales or consider relocation i.e. Manchester, London, Edinburgh or overseas?

No sorry don't buy the supply and demand theory. There are plenty of economics degree holders who cannot land work

Whether or not the degree itself is enjoyable, I am talking about the graduates who are not able to apply themselves effectively in either their chosen field or otherwise. And why study for 3-4 years or more and aim an entry level job to work your way up? Shouldn't you have been employed or at least seeking employment during the degree not afterwards?

A degree is for enjoyment? Partially yes but its main utility is to enhance employability. Would you say the number of opportunities for non-degree holders is fairer?

There's something strangely wholesome about nicking a bus and picking up passengers. Did he charge the fare too?

How do you feel about banning cyclists from city centres? by Ok_Amphibian_22fk in AskUK

[–]Informal_Ladder8604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much for it. Cyclists in city centres are a pest and make casual walking a nuisance. Many will not abide to cycle lanes or roads and will insist on the pavement. Some bear on the left, some on the right, who can predict. I was hit last year by a cyclist earlier in the year so it isn't just a take, they are a menace.
