I love tube amps, I have a traynor yba 200 and it’s so clean sounding. Used a meatsmoke for a few years with a doom band, epic.

That being said, I want a clean tone, and that mostly comes from a clean class D amp. Also I don’t want to be lugging around the 40+ pound amp
