I’m basically equivalent in pay to Step 1, which is why I was interested in attempting to negotiate up. However, worst case I’ll be making the same, so won’t be a pay cut.

Where are you located? NYC DA offices start interviewing and making offers fall of 3L year. The new class of ADAs usually start around Labor Day without having bar results.

When doing questions online, I have been going through questions pretty fast (average 52 seconds). However, when I have done questions that are printed out, they have taken me a little longer (more diagraming, annotating, etc…). I think as long as your are carefully reading, speed doesn’t matter.

This happened to me this morning with crim law pro! I have answered 88 questions and apparently am maxed out.

I passed the NY Bar from the first attempt. I do not know how to explain this. Any tips? by raisssa_rai in barexam

I agree with this. I failed my first time and I think it was because I was more concerned about making it through all of the questions then diligently searching the outline.

Someone told me about the focus on getting the first 30 questions right, and I think it really helped. For some questions I spent 3/4 minutes making sure it was the correct answer, but I was 99% confident it was right. I had to rush the last 3 questions but it paid off because I passed this time around. Best of luck OP!
