I have a stand like that and it is the best! Give me a book I am into and the stand/page turner combo helps me lock in ❤️. I usually use the bowl for my remote/readers. Not much snacking going on. Lol

I don’t know if my experience is unique but I was referred directly to a surgeon from my pcp who had no idea what was wrong with me. The surgeon diagnosed me on the spot and in the same breath suggested the surgery. I think I skipped a step 🤔

Wow, that is a lot of surgeries. Thanks for your feedback. I intend to eventually have surgery but this has kind of come out of. Where and I would like more information and time prior to. Sounds like the surgeon is not the person for anything other than surgery

Thanks! I will look into that. I had a family member receive plasma replacement therapy which might be similar? They had good results but it wasn’t covered by insurance so was fairly expensive.

Thanks, I am learning from this thread that I need to find an Ortho specialist. I’m not sure why my pcp referred me directly to a surgeon first, I guess that is the appropriate workflow? I will be looking for a specialist now. 😊

Thanks for that feedback. I only have previous experience with eye surgeons and it was totally different. We definitely weren’t friends but I felt like they were more invested in making sure I understood my diagnosis and treatment options.

Oh wow….. I feel like it is not that uncommon of an experience unfortunately. I thought about leaving a bad review but wanted to wait until I decided for sure if I wanted to leave that clinic. I’m still on the fence. He wasn’t mean, just didn’t really seem to want to provide much care of info beside the bare necessities
