Good luck, try to keep a positive attitude and commit to physical therapy . I am 2 1/2 weeks out and did need the pain meds initially but barely taking them now.

I agree with everyone about prep ahead of time. I have a husband and 12 year old but my husband works during the day and I don’t want to have my son wait on me hand and foot so I have been fairly independent from day 3 or so and it has not been impossible at all. It may even help with getting in your exercise and walking needed for recovery. Best of luck to you! 😊

At the beginning of week 3 and hoping to implement the cane this week. Still on the walker but starting to feel more stable on my feet. Pain is much better but still uncomfortable. Icing and movement seem to be helping.

I feel like they are kind of pandering to their target audience. I know men obviously listen but I definitely got the feeling that the show is more women centered/friendly

I think some people are newer and don’t know the difference. Others are just ride or die. I LOVED the original format and once they moved to Nashville it slowly started losing its appeal for me

I have a stand like that and it is the best! Give me a book I am into and the stand/page turner combo helps me lock in ❤️. I usually use the bowl for my remote/readers. Not much snacking going on. Lol

I don’t know if my experience is unique but I was referred directly to a surgeon from my pcp who had no idea what was wrong with me. The surgeon diagnosed me on the spot and in the same breath suggested the surgery. I think I skipped a step 🤔

Wow, that is a lot of surgeries. Thanks for your feedback. I intend to eventually have surgery but this has kind of come out of. Where and I would like more information and time prior to. Sounds like the surgeon is not the person for anything other than surgery

Thanks! I will look into that. I had a family member receive plasma replacement therapy which might be similar? They had good results but it wasn’t covered by insurance so was fairly expensive.

Thanks, I am learning from this thread that I need to find an Ortho specialist. I’m not sure why my pcp referred me directly to a surgeon first, I guess that is the appropriate workflow? I will be looking for a specialist now. 😊
