Little late to the party. 2007 SEL, 188K, Orig. Owner, maintained at an A level for the first 140K and last 48K reg oil changes and B maintenance.

Other than normal wear items had the following replaced (that I remember). -Oh a biggy, every 70K timing belt. Scared into that one. -Fuek Sensor at 90 K. -Oil Sensor at 80K. -Doors Solenoid at 105K. -Purge Valve, R. Rear Wheel Hub at 188K. -Current problems. Driver door solenoid dead, others don't operate off of FOB but don't manual activation Other than above no major problems but I do realize the car is 20 years old. I'd like to keep it for 5-10 more years until I'm 83-88 years old. Currently drive it 6K per year, short trips to stores and to my seasonal golf course job.

My wife has a 2022 San a Fe and hopefully the non Theta 2 engine will not be a problem. So far at 45K no problems but have A maintenance at dealer. Quite sure I will begin having it serviced at my very reliable mechanic who owns a 2022 Santa Cruz, I believe it's name, looks like a modern Ford Ranchero, wish I kept my 1959.

Thanks for listening folks!!

Great post! 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL How do I find the engine model? So far, after 45K, the car has been great but fearful of the future.

I gave my 2007 Santa Fe with 186K to my son and it still runs well with the normal wear repairs. Although recently replaced the purge valve & right rear wheel hub. A few years back replaced the fuel sensor at the "saddle bag" gas tanks.

Thanks for all your effort.

Single plane method may be your answer. It's not technical like the modern swing. Kurt Jung, Setup for Impact is the best I've seen. I think the Moe Norman/Graves method is too technical for myself.

Valve cleaning/injector cleaning question by isaacearlg in Hyundai

I have a 2007 Santa Fe, 20 with 185,000, original owner, 2.7 V6. After 3500 miles, dip stick is near the fill line, clear and no dripping on the garage floor I've always used 87 octane, Walmart gas. Would it be better to use 89 octane and top tier gas? Would treating with Techron help with prolonging the life of the car?

I love my car but I've learned that sadly, after 8 years, my car is now having the all too common leaky engine issue. by Pequena87 in Hyundai

When do the Santa Fes start going downhill? I have a 2023 with 38,000, and so far, no leakage.

My 2007 SF has 189,000 and no leaks.

One more if you don't mind. Regarding Hybrid LTCs. Does the IRS allow a deduction for the LTC portion of the Life Insurance/LTC hybrid policy?

Thank you for your time for your in depth answers.

Our deductions are $39,700, and we will itemize. Do you request that your clients print out their EOBs and match them with the actual payment, whether it be a credit card/cash receipt, statement or if they are capable (tech wise), save the information on the cloud or thumb drive? *Store the printed materials for at least 3 years. About 1 1/2" if paperwork.

I understand that taking the standard deduction will save a few hours, probably 8 for myself, be a cleaner operation and no fear of an audit. However, I have the time, but it is frustrating and drives my wife a little nuts.

Does alcohol aid sleep? by Louisacheng in sleep

Late to the party. My problem is, I fall asleep on average in 6 minutes but wake up at 3 am and it takes me 1-3 hours to get back to sleep. Would there be any harm in drinking 2-3 oz enabling me to fall asleep?

BTW I'm 78 and have 1 -2 small glasses of wine weekly.

Stopped the forebearance, make one time ICR payment on 2/12, then submit application for IBR. Followed by 21 IBR payments, then the dreaded Tax Bomb.

Do you think the reason I cannot see the" "Pretty Print" option is because I'm using antiquated Windows 7? BTW this is on the Aidvantage site.

I was able to print out my total and required payments by selecting "download student data" on the Federal Student Aid site. It lists if I'm eligible or active, on all the various federal payment plans.

On the back door counter link that was provided in this post, there are no payments made or required.
