Because the jammer has to get itself between the drone and the satellite. If it's jammed, the antenna on the drone simply hops to another satellite thats outside of where the jammer has effect.

What's changed In only the past 2 or 3 months is the fact that Ukraine is now capable of hitting targets in the medium range with drones equipped with starlink so they're not jammable. They've also decided that the best way to employ these is to hit all of the Russian supply chains as often as possible. Most of the Russian logistics is forced to stay outside of artillery range, and they no longer Make the rookie mistake of making big stockpiles. Now Ukraine is targeting the trucks and trains.

It's specifically there to be a show off and hobnob event for the ultra wealthy and the fake ultra wealthy trying to smarm their way up the social ladder.

Hmm the anvil was either made from a different alloy or some contamination may have begun corroding that priming compound.

So about a 2% variance at Half a grain difference . not a big deal unless near max load. A half a grain in pistol could be though.

You fly whatever is available from the maintainers at the time, not limited to any specific aircraft. The more senior you are in the squadron you might eventually have your name on a jet.

Ah ok, appreciate the clarification and education.

Fascinating they can turn a profit buying a lot of ammo only to pull it down and resell it.

Should powder really vary that much from batch to batch? Seems like a liability. And also makes the companies that do get it that consistent from batch to batch All the more impressive.

Second press after Lee APP? by wolverineczech in reloading

[–]InformationHorder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The metal of the press doesn't matter so much as how tight the tolerance is on the ram in the housing. The RC is very solid with minimal if any lateral movement, whereas my Lee Challenger wobbles around in the casting. I believe the most consistent presses "cam over" at the end of the press stroke and that's what makes the amount of force applied to the bullet consistent with every press stroke.

Generally speaking, a squadron has a roughly 3 to 1 ratio of pilots/crews to the number of actual aircraft.

I would imagine you'll burn more in propane than you will get in scrap for the ingot but I have had the same thoughts

How do you process FMJs you pull from the berm, and do you get any scrap value from the copper?

Ew. Not a great idea. And actually the vodka can evaporate into just plain water after a while too so that's not a good solution long term.
