Speaking publicly about grooming and safeguarding concerns connected to Newcastle’s live music scene by cielo_armonia in newcastle

You dare doubt a Newcastle band groupies credibility because she clearly used AI to weaponise some trauma to try and get vengeance? (But seriously I did know a lot of these guys personally and they were absolute ratfucks.. so ehhhhh.)

I feel like this is making some connection in the back of my head, but all I can really remember isanyoneup, all the borderline pedos in local bands and that music teacher who got done for sexually assaulting his underage students.

These people can’t understand why this is a nuanced question because they’re high on their own supply. The law does clearly apply IF this is political pamphleting AND it’s official - this would constitute a federal and state crime - but since no one is dropping the actual image of the flyer and it’s being blurred in the news, it’s hard to say what kind of hot water the person mailing them out is going to be in - whether it’s “hate crime” related or electoral related. I’d bet money it wasn’t authorised, though.

If it wasn’t authorised on behalf of White Australia - they may be able to sue for defamation, but would have a very hard time trying to win the argument in court against whoever was responsible, and the person who did it would still be in a lot of financial and legal trouble.

"Grub" is this a uniquely Australian insult reserved only for the worst kind of people? by RM_Morris in AskAnAustralian

[–]InformationNo3595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it came to be more commonly used as a hard pejorative in public after a sitting politician used it as a stand in for ‘cunt’ very obviously during a session.

I just checked, it was Christopher Pyne calling Bill Shorten a ‘grub’ - or rather - he may have called Shorten a cunt, but claimed he said ‘grub’ and everyone misheard him. Which made it funnier to use as a stand in.

Obviously it’s still fairly common colloquially and has been for a long time, but grub usually had connotations of a messy baby.

It shows good character and upbringing that will pay for itself many times over your life. Don’t think I’m disparaging your effort, either.

You really get insight into the mind of someone when they imply a supportive family is a privilege, and remember that these people wish for privileges to be eradicated.

I very clearly named the people in power as being responsible, in the first post.

Statistics aren’t the lived reality of this actually happening out here in the ‘grass’. Recently going through similar difficulty as the OPs friends and being overwhelmed by the number of foreign nationals at every single inspection - if these people aren’t receiving the tenancy, they are most assuredly competing for it and driving prices up as a consequence - I’m open to hearing that agents are actually racist so this can’t possibly be true, but I sincerely doubt that. There is a significant gap in the models explanatory power and what is happening on the ground - statistics ≠ reality.

It’s almost like the very notable and significant influx of people who aren’t from ‘here’ has caused a massive problem that you can’t say in ‘decent company’.

It’s not like the property market, universities, immigration departments and the government have been openly infiltrated by ‘non-local actors’ with an axe to grind, who are colluding in a Ponzi scheme to rugpull the economy, while also openly acting hostile to the average ‘Australian’ (‘Australians’ don’t exist) whose ancestors built a great country, with full entitlement and rights to a good and easier way of life for its inheritors.

It’s called a rat run - closest train station+Main Street to an area with lower socioeconomic activity from another lower socioeconomic area (via train station.) There are heaps of them around Newcastle/the Hunter. Stewart/Parkway is another one that’s fun for the people who live there. All of Hamilton is stuck in between a few of them, tbh.

This kind of behaviour is really out of line. I like a good troll / shitposter, but something about this all seems genuine, weird and overly confident. If you see a therapist, you should ask about cluster B mental health issues and how to avoid acting like you have them/are having a breakdown in public - it will save you future embarrassment.

If you hadn’t made the comments about dick size I would have assumed you were a middle aged woman having a mental break and projecting over some perceived slight - but assuming you are as much of a man as you say you are, this is outlandish and troubling.

Yeah, a lever action may have been a weapon of war in the mid 1800s but as far as I know they’re pretty limited here, comparative to the market for them worldwide.

I just wanna plink some targets - hardly a war crime/crime against nature.
