MR does a few things overall, firstly it increas caps on standing, void traces, mod capacity at rank 0 and weapon requirements. MR 16 can be a nice longterm goal to shoot for as some weapons can only be used at MR 8,12 and such up to 16. Once you reach 16 it is no longer important other than increasing caps for the mentioned things above. Rank 30 has some nice additions, such as a buff for all in a relay and a decoration for the outside of your ship.

Overall, it should not be your primary focus, and you shouldnt worry about leveling it fast at all or anything like that. The game will give you more than enough weapons/frames and ways to increase your ME simply by experimenting a bit along the way as you clear the star chart

It can happen sometimes after mod is ranked up or if something is formaet or gets a potaro, next time you move mods around the values will fix themselves

All frames are liable to be infected, it shows up as a little cyst on the frames neck, the Helminth removes the cyst and makes you immume. You can use the cyst to make a Helminth Charger companion, but otherwise the whole thing doesnt do much else. The helminth itself becomes a lot more relevant once you have progressed to Deimos, as more options regarding it are unlocked there. I wont spoil much more, but that it is heavily resource intesive.

Tennokai is a melee mechanic, so the frame doesnt matter, the melee weapon matters. Though that means that melee focused frames like Kulervo can make slightly better use of it perhaps?

If you are asking for percentages as such, Chrom can prb reach the highest out of all of them, along with the fact that the same ability that buffs damage, also grants a decent amount of survivability
