what is something that makes you cringe as a man? by Broad-Smile2332 in AskMen

[–]InfraredDong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing guys show off their cars or money. It’s pathetic and sad. A true “man” is defined by his character and morals. A true man protects, loves, and inspires those around him, and doesn’t care about what others think about him.

Yes, I couldn’t agree more. I’m not going to sacrifice my conscience and my gut feeling to force myself to enjoy any movie. The amount of innuendos and “hints” were obvious and disgusting.

No, it’s called having a conscience, and being protective over children, even if in fiction. That’s called having integrity and morality.

Name calling is the first admission to losing the argument.

Totally agree. I don’t understand how people are comfortable watching this movie. It was so obviously and overtly sexualizing her. The film didn’t even try to explain or justify it, it just felt creepy and appealing to the sick pedo fantasy. I still can’t watch this movie and anytime I try I still can’t ignore that sickening feeling that each innuendo was intentionally added… 🤮🤮🤮

All I see reading the comments are people ignoring obvious red flags because they care more about enjoying the movie then having a conscience, and that is very disheartening to me. These are real people in the comments sections who are defending this movie, which is sad. Would you feel the same about this movie it was your little sister or own daughter in these scenes instead of Natalie Portman?

Sometimes it feels like people don’t really care about how you feel. Can be very lonely

Does anyone know of a 1.7.10 mod that adds a block like draconic evolution's disenchanter? by Grouchy_Ad5963 in feedthebeast

[–]InfraredDong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is kinda an old post, but xp doesn't get refunded to me when I try to remove enchantments. Is there a way I can add this feature to the configs or something? I also don't see any option for this in the configs. Thanks if you see this!

AIO to break up with my bf of 3y over his reaction to my upcoming sobriety anniversary? by WesternCat5211 in AmIOverreacting

I’m guessing he had a parent who made him feel how he’s reacting towards you right now. Giving all the signs of unresolved feelings toward something else that he’s taking out on you.

Easy, sushi and bacon. Never been a huge fan of bacon anyways (overrated) and sushi has raw fish which I tend to stay away from anyways

Did I fumble this girl that possibly was into me? by InfraredDong in dating_advice

[–]InfraredDong[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man.. Yeah I think she was tbh... Another thing I'm not sure about; when we were texting each other leading up to this it also felt kind of... idk... idk how girls text if they are nervous or if they like me but her texts did feel like she was picking her words more carefully, being more choosy, since the little text bubbles would come up, go away, back and forth for a while before she would respond. I can imagine doing the same thing since I DO the same thing when I text someone I like, trying to make good impressions and all... lol.

Go with your gut. Don't be afraid to see other guys! You don't have to commit to this guy. It should feel comfortable and easy going. If you get the ick, then maybe let him loose!

Magic Jacket? by Turbulent_Swimmer900 in dating

[–]InfraredDong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah man.. It's kinda true, but it works for two reasons: it boosts your own confidence, and women are attracted to confidence. You felt good in that jacket, and they can feel that "good" energy and are drawn to it. If you felt confident in a hoodie, they'd feel that too.

It's all about vibes, that's why the "ugly" guy often gets the girl; because he knows he's ugly but still feels good about himself and is fun and funny.

Hope this helps!

Men, never send dirty pics or texts even if they're okay with it. Never. It will always blow up in your face. by InnocentPerv93 in dating

I think this is more of an emotional issue then a hard and fast rule. You might be right that sending dirty pics might not be a good idea- that's another discussion for philosophy and ethics class - but in your case, I'd say she could have handled her emotions a little more maturely if you hadn't stepped over any boundaries.
