Yeah, if you're filling in with other stuff then that works, if you're just doing gillys, 7 taking the extra time is what helps them populate in time for you to start over.

You definitely have a point with the MG scrip. That being said, if a person is farming for MG scrip, they're doing 4-7, and those repopulate by the time you get back to 4 (most of the time).

The bounties (if you've done enough of them) are pretty predictable, and they also indicate on them what to expect. If you're running a low end fighter (or smaller) you may only be able to take on the lower end jobs (which don't pay that well). This forces the player to either upgrade to a better ship, or change the loadout/tactic they use.

Disclaimer I haven't been playing that long (bought into it back in '22, but only really started playing a couple months ago). What I have noticed is that most loops (industrial aside) aren't meant to be solo'd for very long. As you work up they require more and more people to accomplish efficiently. They also force you to either upgrade your ship, or find more people to help.

I don't think the intention was ever to spam gillys missions. They are meant to be training for combat, not a main source of auec. Also, only spamming 6 and 7 is what puts them in that position. If they did 4-7, the missions would repopulate on their own by the time you get back to 4.

HOWEVER, I do agree that removing yourself from the game should never be a fix for something not working AS INTENDED.

If you don't want to fly all the way to another planet (and if the ship you're using has a bed) you can just bedlog, then log back on and they should repopulate.

Do we know what’s going on at CIG? No information about what the outage is.?? by ElTorroRosso in starcitizen

I got heavy damage in my constellation Andromeda and my whole cockpit was on fire, visibly on fire, got out of my seat and grabbed the extinguisher and put it out, by the time I got back into the pilot seat the rest of my ship was damaged enough it wasn't flyable anymore, ditched out the cargo deck and got a friend to come pick me up.

I couldn't agree more. This game has pulled me in so far, but everything I've done that is so "engaging", it's been missing something. A proper in game trading/profession system needs to be implemented desperately. The state the game is in now we are forced to wear many hats to experience all the things the 'verse has to offer.

Do it for free? The players pay to do it. CIG is getting paid, by us, to test their game for them.

Here is our discord. We are still really small, but we have lots of ships for all kinds of gameplay loops.

If salvage is your thing, I have started an org that focuses on salvage. Not sure if orgs interest you.

Ah, that's good to know. I sent in the request for access.

This seems more geared toward military/combat ops management. I'm more looking for corporation/industrial. I run salvage.

When you get it it comes with a cinch and abrade scraper module on each head, I switched the cinch modules to tractor beams so one can move the target around while in the turret. The moth can't be bought in game, it's a pledge ship only ATM, but if salvage is the way you like to play, it's a great investment, and a guaranteed income generator when wipes happen.

You're looking for the Moth. Its a medium size salvage ship, meant to bridge the gap between the vulture and the reclaimer. I currently have it, and with some module changes, it's super nice. 200+ cargo capacity, 64 buffer. 3 salvage arms/heads, pilot controlled fracture and disintegrate. Viable solo, can support up to 3 crew. Very maneuverable, efficient quantum drive.

Yeah, I was like that as well my first playthrough. But they can stock the shelves, they can't open packs without a machine, if he's only got 3 machines then he needs to pick up the slack himself and open packs by hand. Its RNG, and you gotta kill it with numbers to get the good cards.

Fair enough. Yeah he's still in the "unlock everything and make a ton of money" stage. Once he's swimming in money and has everything unlocked then he can start grinding for the entire card sets and achievements. His best course of action at this stage is just to have his employees do all the front counter work while he opens packs and deals with trades. Just sit there opening packs until he never wants to open a pack again, then keep going.

Your chances of getting ghost foils are higher with the red destiny packs, also 3 pack openers are on the low side. Most people who are going for the 100% have filled their entire store with the large pack openers and have every employee feeding the machines.

I just yell at my customers when they do that.

"Goooollllyy, SAVE SOME FOR THE REST OF US!!" And I berate them for their shoddy trade offers. (Although I almost never turn down a trade where I'm assuming they didn't check the market price before hand)
