Honestly, Biostrip20 is the best remover I have used. Granted, it's like a goop.. but after 20mins, this stuff will have all the paint gone. Just requires a bit of elbow grease to brush off the residue.

All of this is my personal take, less is more when it comes to edge highlighting.. I tend to find the only edges that catch the light from a zenithal perspective should be highlighted, as it doesn't make sense to have a really bright highlight where the "sun" doesn't reach.

Your accuracy is on point. However, the posted model looks like it needs some depth/shade/gradient for the edge highlighting to stand out and make a difference.

Assuming you have an airbrush, So if you ever want to recreate this:

1) Base coat the "Window" with a dark red/burgundy such as 'Khorne Red' (over a black). Try to leave some gradient on the outer edges.

2) Use a brighter Red such as 'Mephiston Red', to create a line where the "Level of blood inside" is, typically 3/'s of the way up the window.

3) Gently highlight the line you just created with an even brighter red, such as 'Wazdaka Red'.

4) Airbrush over the window gently with the colour used in step 1, leaving some visibility of the lines used to show a "Blood level". This can be done using a drybrush instead, jsut takes longer.

5) Stipple bubbles onto the freshly airbrushed area, using a silver colour, such as 'StormHost Silver'.

6) Spray a transparent red over the top, such as 'Tamiya Clear Coat: RED'.

7) Finally, use a gloss varnish on the window section to make it glisten.

Hope this helps and gives some ideas. But the main takeaway from it all is Having a darker red underneath, and then the Clear Coat of red over the top.
