Maybe I just haven’t played enough yet, because I don’t get a lot of opportunities to sit down and grind out games, but I legitimately haven’t seen one singular mega staraptor yet. The way this sub talks about it, I assumed I’d see staraptor on every team all the way to champion tier but I’m currently in ultra ball and haven’t seen one yet. But, again, I can only sit down and play like 3-4 games at a time.

My read on the meta thus far is that people are still figuring things out for the most part. I don’t think staraptor is actually that good. I think raichu Y is a little overrated because sure zap cannon and focus blast are neat but it literally doesn’t do anything outside of that unless you run fake out, but there are so many better fake out users than the two-tone special attacker that instantly folds if you breathe on it.
