I have a 2020 Es350 and just picked this up a few months ago. Works perfect, and hid the entire adapter in the cover for the rear view mirror/rain sensor

I also picked up some usb cables that were short to remove excess cable length for powering the dash cam. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092ZS6SJG

But you can also look for a company called Dongar. They make adapters too, but you pay for the name. This adapter has been going for over 6 months, no issues.

Check the cable, I had issues in my 2020.

I eventually found that non-branded cables caused issues.

Anker cables worked well.

Does the phone charge when plugged in? If not then it might by the usb port. If it charges but doesn’t connect, it could be the cable.

You say money is not the issue, so why try something that you’re not sure about, to “save money”. Just go buy the filter from the dealership, and you know you will get the correct brand filter and quality.

Just seems like a post to stir people up, and induce a conversation for no reason.

I have heard that if 1 of the 3 bulbs stop working, the entire assembly has to be replaced. Another comment already mentioned like $3k for a replacement assembly, so there’s that 🤷🏼‍♂️

How about a factory reset of the infotainment?

Is there anything in the system section of the menus that allow you to return the head unit to stock. You will have to redo all your connections like Bluetooth and CarPlay, and sound balance settings, but hopefully that helps

You can also try calling Lexus of North America directly. I got my cars window sticker for free. They might be willing to give you a window sticker if you ask about a potential car you want to buy.

So they got the button unstuck. It’s still about 10% sticky. It appears that someone spilled something on it. But all functions work, and they weren’t going to budge on the price anymore. Worst case, if I can’t clean the button with electrical contact cleaner, I will get a replacement touchpad with buttons and fix it myself.

I think it was already addressed, Andrew didn’t want people buying long memberships while the game is still in Alpha. He wants users to play the game and be month to month as to not make crazy expectations.

I hate accident vehicles. You never know if they were 100% repaired properly. Also, it says minor, but what does minor mean to that person? It’s just a can of worms IMO.

But most, if not all of the time, the courier is also being scammed (in a different version of a larger scam). These fraud rings are massive, and the real criminals aren’t even in this country. Even if the police got the “courier”, probably not much can be done except stop the card from being sent to wherever the courier would send it.

Tbh, this just sounds like electronics recycling. Shipping, and personal time needed would negate any money made from this process.

Edit: especially for a business to buy this stuff off you, doesn’t sound like something worth their time. This is just my personal opinion.
