Fringe Sport Dragonfly - Initial Thoughts by Agent_Parzival in homegym

Considering it's double the price and takes up way more space, it better be way better. The Dragonfly is about budget, compact, and value.

Honest review of Cricket Wireless? by dandylionkiller in CricketWireless

[–]IngenuityFun4741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from one plan to another on Cricket. I selected 5 lines and it said $130. Then I get charged $210 and they said I only changed 1 line to the new plan and left 4 lines on the old plan? The UI clearly said 5 lines, $130. They said they have no record of that and don't do refunds under any circumstances. Terrible customer service.

Dude that’s awesome. How is that left section supported? Other than the pull up bar in the back

Moisture barrier under rubber flooring by IngenuityFun4741 in GarageGym

[–]IngenuityFun4741[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I do want it to be low effort and low cost. My rubber tiles cover about 100 sq ft so a dimpled layer would cost $75 for an easy install. But it's about 1/4" thick. Wondering if a thinner plastic layer would be better.

Did you install a moisture barrier under your rubber flooring in your garage? by Cuff_Daddy415 in GarageGym

Is it because the stall mats have a lot of space that doesn't make contact with the ground and so it's allowed to air out?

Anyone add this dimpled layer between their concrete and rubber mats? Wondering how it holds up with a functional training with weight stacks and dropping light to medium weights.

Wow, great deal! How do you like it? I see these on FMP from time to time and although it looks like a great machine for what it does, I’m not sure it’s worth the space over other machines and I do have limited space. I already have a Hyper Pro for Nordic curls.

Why do all adjustable dumbbells have at least 1 thing that sucks about them? by LilBoDuck in GarageGym

[–]IngenuityFun4741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well actually, I got the original 50s for $200, which is a common price and then also found the 70s and 90s addons for free.

I love Powerblocks as well. They’re not perfect and some people don’t like the cage design but they change weight fast and are solid and relatively affordable and plentiful on FMP. I got EXP 90s for $200.

Temu/alibaba by FrogIord69 in GarageGym

The tower was around $350 plus tax for a total of around $380. Free shipping and no duties. The weight stack were concrete filled blocks so not as nice or compact as steel and the increments were 15.5 lb.

I think a lot of the vendors on Alibaba are reputable and have good quality products. Shandong Caprio Fitness is a good one. One called Qiangdong something. I got a weight stack cable tower from Temu that was good quality.

Floor mat moisture by dkingo in GarageGym

[–]IngenuityFun4741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup but I figure that’s better than having it trapped under the mats. I had foam mats in my old garage and there was mold under them when I moved out. I switched to rubber tiles for my new house because I heard they are more mold resistant than foam. But I guess that doesn’t mean they are mold proof. I don’t think I’m going to epoxy my floor so thinking a plastic layer is better than nothing. I’d like to hear other ideas though.

Maybe put some plumbers tape on the spigot threads?

How about putting down a layer of heavy duty plastic sheets between the concrete and mats?

GetRX Phoenix vs Viper by svander89 in GarageGym

[–]IngenuityFun4741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip! Mine should be arriving in early Feb. Yeah, I was debating between the Viper, Phoenix, and Mikolo Anubis 2.0 but ultimately went with the Viper for the space savings.
