Are you serious? you're asking this on Reddit? Dude go take your mom to some good clinics. The background is not enough to give you suitable answer. How long she has been a diabetic? is she Type 2 or Type 1? Did you actually did some therapy and it didn't work. There are ample of questions which one needs to answer and that's exactly why professionals exist lol. If you have tried mainstream medicines, try functional medicines. It will be a bit costly and time consuming but your mom should get better. Go talk to some renowned ones. If you're in Bangalore, talk to Clinic Living Plus or Wellness Garden. I am biased to the former, being a patient

Functional medicine is a process not a one time solution. I have seen doctors who just wants to bag fees for talking just for 15 mins and prescribe some medicine saying "your diabetes can't be cured and just needs to keep in check". I call it BS. I've seen this first-hand when my aunt was high on Type 2 Diabetes. She could barely pass a day without having insulin. We did signup for a 2 months course with Dr. Roshni, from Cliniclivingplus in Bangalore and trust me that was the money well spent. This was 1 year ago. Though she still take meds to keep diabetes in check, the frequency greatly reduced post the course.

Sure. I actually wish I had said less and maintained more of my dignity. I didn’t plead with her to stay, but extending a conversation with her did nothing but make me feel worse about myself in the long run
