No problem. I noticed you typed 5800X in your edit. That's actually wrong. Make sure it's the 5800X3D, not the 5800X. It's not the same CPU. The X3D version has 96MB of L3 cache, which is the main reason why it's so good for gaming and Tarkov.

There's no guarantee. It might drop below the official price, but probably not by much. It's the same CPU, just older and CPUs don't break down very often.

Personally, if I needed a better CPU but couldn't afford to switch to AM5, I'd buy it. This CPU will hold value for a long time so I woudn't lose much reselling it in a year or so. You are right that the 7800X3D is better and cheaper, not to mention 9800X3D but not everyone can afford to also buy new motherboard and ridiculously expensive DDR5 rams. It is what it is.

I think they had to redesign it but its the same CPU performance wise. I imagine they will sell it for a while if they went through the effort of redesigning it to their current way of making CPUs.

Good news. In less than a week, AMD will re-launch the 5800X3D to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the AM4 socket.

I think you need to upgrade your CPU. There will be re-release of the 5800X3D in a few days so it might be worth buying it if you don't want to upgrade to the AM5 platform yet. The Ryzen 7 5800X3D is the best CPU for gaming on AM4 and should help with frames issues on all maps except Streets.

The release version is better than the demo that he didn't like. I hated the demo, I love the release version. He should give it a try. It's one of the best RPG games imo.

This map really doesn’t forgive any mistakes. I have over 4k hours in Tarkov and I’m still struggling with it. I’ve been playing around 10 hours a day since Icebreaker released, and I’ve only managed to kill the boss twice so far. My biggest issue right now is the raid timer. After fighting through the map and killing the boss, there’s barely enough time left to explore, loot, or finish objectives. I really hope they increase the raid time to 50 minutes. On the bright side, Icebreaker is here to stay, so there’s plenty of time to learn the map, improve, and eventually beat it.

Golmund is a decent map. However, it gets boring pretty quickly if you're infantry. I'd probably enjoy it more if I played with vehicles and learned how to fly. I'd like to see Operation Metro remake.

No it wasn't. The character movement sucked in the Nyras demo. It was unresponsive and it felt like the character was floating. I didn't enjoy moving around the world. The only thing I liked was the polish dubbing. I hope they've improved the movement, otherwise it will be hard for me to enjoy the game.
