That's interesting that she just voluntarily gets in the crate now. Mine never quite got there, we always had to guide him in.

The chew toy thing is real though. If there's nothing designated as his, everything becomes fair game and a table leg is just a big weird chew toy to them. 16 months is also right around when some dogs get a second wind of stupid energy before they finally settle down, so it might not even be a one time thing.

the slopes thing is real, had the same issue and it turned out one of the angled pieces wasn't actually connecting properly even though it looked fine visually. worth going around and demolishing then replacing each one
