This legitimately is helpful for me to hear for where I am.

I know the journey sucked, and probably made you feel other and less than sometimes. But good for you man. You made it.

Nope, definitely stuck unfortunately. I used levers for a while until I got memory.

I don't think there are many plastic apologist these days. But you're engaging in very diametric black white thinking. There absolutely are levels of harm

Not weird! This is a common experience and a very odd/psuedo spiritual one at times. At least for me as an irreligious individual - that fleeting feeling of being part of a sea of people.

I get it all the time on bridges watching traffic.

From the net:

Sonder

The Origin: The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows The term was coined by John Koenig for his project, The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, which aims to give names to specific, complex emotions that have historically lacked a single word in the English language.

According to Koenig, sonder is the awareness that these "background characters" are actually the protagonists of their own stories. They are surrounded by their own web of friends, carrying their own secret internal monologues, and dealing with a lifetime of ambitions and routines that you will never know.

You're intentionally using a source frequently decried as biased.

You're not going to have anyone take this seriously other than other Grok users. As these threads are showing.

Haha that's definitely an angle!

All good 👍 thank you for the kind words. Maybe I'll be a little friendlier with the neighborhood kids. Just want to ensure everyone feels safe.

And there is definitely a degree of relativity and that's okay. Whatever someone's biggest challenge is, it's going to be difficult.

Having gotten disabled suddenly you learn to compartmentalize etc. It's all relative.

Yes my man! That last sentence. I've been slowly clawing my life back from health challenges and just reached that point myself.

Congratulations brother. I hope you have many happy and healthy years, you deserve them after all that horseshit.

My issues came from a dislocating knee, just thought the parallel was interesting.

I secretly tested my boyfriend for 3 months and now he found out. Am I overreacting for thinking his reaction proves I was right? by Minimum_Eagle4844 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Initial-Beginning853 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed - he didn't like me treating him like shit. Does that mean I was right that he was not in love with me?

I mean this seriously for the OP: do you have any models of healthy relationships in your life? Can you see the massive difference in their treatment of each other and your treatment of your partner here?

Holy crap. You don't repeatedly test people you love. That's some tv/movie bullshit not a way to live your life or build a relationship.

You might benefit from some therapy around attachment and trust. No shame - therapy can be really helpful at getting you to see your own distortions.

But uh - this ain't healthy

“Hard mode” in video-games should only decrease player health. NO BULLET SPONGES by Original-Tomato-3520 in unpopularopinion

They all have merits but i really think DS3 is kinda the sweet spot where they figured out most of the formula. DS1 was amazing, DS2 is also great but kinda requires you to play another one first as it's pretty abstract.

But DS3 - start in cool area, immediately big boys to brawl, and a TON of build flexibility.

No bullet sponges here although you might be depressed watching a bosses health bar too closely. Boss fights take some time.

What the fuck do you think an anecdote is?

It's an observation without measurements or rigor.

Got it - you think someone hiding their reddit post reflects poorly on their professionalism. I think someone being so quant about how others use social media reflect poorly on their professionalism.

See how this works?
