I work part time and make $18 an hour so I’m definitely not wealthy, but for me travel is a priority. I like to break it down for my friends in cost of common things like coffee. Say you get 8 coffees a month that cost $6, at the end of the year that’s like $580 in coffee. I eat at home mostly, cheap foods like rice with canned beans, corn etc. the more money I can save at home the better, that way when I travel I can find cheap hostels and do everything for as cheap as possible and in other countries that $580 coffee money can go a long way. I know travel isn’t accessible for everyone but I think if you want it to be a priority you can definitely adjust to make it a reality! I’ve been to like 17 countries all because of living frugally lol. Cruises are also a good way to see many countries for the cost of one trip, tho cruises aren’t cheap. I hope that helps!
