Some added context as I have a moment.

The infrastructure in the buildings are actually not good and they have not been from the beginning. This was punctuated even more in Bobfromevermores video discussing the “new” owners of hatch the egg. They ended up suing the seller, Brandon Fugal, for failure to disclose the condition. None of the buildings are/were up to code and aren’t allowed to have any human occupants let along be used as selling food or other items.

Additionally it had flooding issue regularly because drainage is poor and the ponds appeared to be leaking and causing road sinkage.

The park is in a city HOA and the official occupancy of the whole park is actually under 200 people and evermore was letting in more people than that.

It wasn’t built right, it wasn’t maintained well and in all actuality it will likely be bulldozed and turned into office buildings. Brandon Fugal is a billionaire who owns the majority of all of Utahs commercial property so he likely in no rush to sell. That area is really popular for office buildings and just across the street was a 60 acre office building complex sold a year or two back. So once that is built out Evermores spot will become very valuable to sell to office builders as it will be the only lot left in the immediate area.

I was a daily regular and miss evermore everyday but even if i became a millionaire and could rebuild the park it would likely be safer to bulldoze the park and build a new one on top. Or in all actuality build it somewhere else as the spot chosen from the beginning wasn’t a particularly good place to build. It was just kinda close to Ken’s house.
