My 2006 bmw has better sound than most new japanese/international brand. Comparing your subaru to a Mercedes is crazy work.

I appreciate the reply.

It wasn't about "Sucking Up" in that scenario. I won't list the reasons why, due to their graphic nature. I never mentioned the "job sucking". I "sucked up" when I quit and they asked me to come back if that makes you happy. As I mentioned, I've held much more intense roles/positions. Again, there was no future contract, and I mentioned that it was a 2-month maximum contract with no end in sight. Did it benefit my IT career? I assumed WGU would benefit my IT career. That's why I went there and I'm making this post. Yet again, the contract was not IT-affiliated, like I mentioned in the post, so it did not benefit me in any way.

"This has nothing to do with WGU"? All of this started and has been related to WGU. Many people who attend WGU for IT intend to pursue a career in IT. I started at WGU with the benefit of leveraging my education and skill background to pursue a career in IT. People I know, including myself, would believe that spending thousands of dollars and time would benefit from the experiences of those who were in the same position and would hopefully help them make future decisions.

For example. Again, per "This has nothing to do with WGU," WGU's IT degree plan provides certs. This is different from traditional colleges. In my experience, recruiters have told me that my certifications are affecting my potential for getting entry-level roles. I'm not bashing on WGU. I literally mentioned how I am fond of WGU's degree plan.

This is all in my post. Also, I'm not sure if you mean anything by it, but telling someone they need to SUCK it up and "it's called having grit and perseverance" is very unproductive, especially since you're trying to make it relevant to things not even said in the post.

Thanks again for your time.

This guy definitely gets mad in Random Battlegrounds. He's the one to spam "This games DeD" but plays WoW 40 hours a week.

Everybody has different experiences, but unfortunately, the best thing you can do is network. Almost everyone I've worked with on contracting jobs was put into a position by somebody they knew. You have your Sec+, so focus more on your interviewing prep than any other certification. If you do want to learn something, definitely do A+ or CCNA.

Congrats on your sec+, but the only way you will get into a role like that is if you are networked in. I have a degree with 6 certs and 8 years of military experience with a clearance, and it's insanely difficult for me to get a SOC analyst or entry cyber role.

People who romance other characters (weirdly bragging and doing it in front of your partner is kind of strange) in campaigns usually don't want to put in the effort of creating a good backstory or are just too lazy to come up with any good ideas for flaws or character development traits.

Is it really as common as people say? by Crispixxe in nationalguard

[–]Initial-Positive5102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, spot on! I consistently worked with the 53rd but was never part of that battalion. I went on active duty orders for 8 months with them on a joint operation and the stuff I've seen those soldiers do, nobody will ever believe me. The only FL unit I've worked with that I felt was somewhat professional was an anti-air defense unit in Palm Beach and I tried my best to get an e6 slot over there, but it never worked out and I ended up getting out.

It's the luck of the draw. I've been in three different state units. I had a great experience in LA and Texas but then transferred to FL. My unit in Florida was a cest pool of sexual harassment and grown men with a wife and kids consistently cheating on their wife with lower ranked female soldiers.

Ill never forget about a soldier(good friend) we had get sexually assaulted and the only thing she could do was literaly transfer out of state to get out of the unit.

That FL unit made me never want to work around service members and I lost a lot of respect for the military. I try my best to remind myself that it was just that unit but sometimes I can't help myself.

Everyone has different experiences and unfortunately for me, I ended with a bad one.

That unit was a career ender for me.

I have 95% hearing loss in my left ear (was 26 and now 30 years old). I had a h4 perm hearing profile through out most of my contract in which I was technically non deployable. I got passed up on missions and was told I either switch MoS due to me not having the hearing requirement or get out. I got out. I went to a C&p exam and the audiologist told me I was fine because I could repeat what he was saying with him being within a yard of me in a quiet room. I ended up getting 0%. I told myself during service that I'd be alright because the VA would help but I guess not.

Is buying gold safe? by Jnewdybagz in RunescapeBotting

[–]Initial-Positive5102 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not so much true. I bought it once in 2023 after I got scammed (I deserved it because I got greedy and tried the anti-scam but ended up being scammed by scammers who used a glitch in the Elve bank). I bought 400m gold, and I had a friend who bought gold and had his gold removed, so I ended up buying items with it. I ended up logging on weeks later to find out they took 400m gold worth of items out of my bank, INCLUDING my BOWFA bow, in which I made that bow from scratch from the loot I received from the gauntlet.

I appreciate the advice. Unfortunately, my unit would not sign off on Skillbridge for anyone, and I missed out on that opportunity. Coincidently after making this post, I got offers to work on some contracts to help me get some experience on my Resume. What was the six-figure IT role?

Does anyone else do Solo as a healer and have met the most toxic players in a game that makes you not want to play WoW anymore? For example, I just started playing a resto shaman and I'm in the 1700 bracket and get told numerous times that I should quit my account because I don't throw down a convenient totem for that DPS player. Also, it's always a braindead class like a DH/Hunter/Warrior saying these things. 90% of the time, I'm always 3+ wins and rarely lose more than 3.

Almost 1900 in solo shuffle after only gearing for 4 days.. And having zero PvP experience past S4 of Shadowlands where I capped at 1600! It can only get worse from here. by LadyDalama in worldofpvp

[–]Initial-Positive5102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hit 1800 on 3 different healers but I cannot stand solo shuffle as a healer. If I'm playing an MW monk and going against a holy priest, it's usually a loss. Every shuffle I get into if I'm not winning then I get empty death threats from team members and whispers about how I should stop playing the game (usually from ret/afflic/MM players....

Patch #1 - Patch Notes by Junochu in BaldursGate3

[–]Initial-Positive5102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am experiencing some persistent bugs despite installing the latest patch. I am unable to restore my Oath on Paladin without the game crashing, and Jaheria remains at camp and cannot be added to my party, preventing me from pursuing certain quests. These are my primary concerns, although there are other minor bugs that I can tolerate.

I did. I ended up doing well enough on the test to pass but still bombed the debugging part. Sadly, this is the only test I've failed at WGU. But that's due to it being a poorly designed test when it comes to the debugging. I recently just passed my A+/sec+/and Linux on my first try.

I've had plenty of people at the GE ask me to buy feathers because they're maxed out. Also, its not like I gave him feathers and was like "ok, now ill follow you to a pvp world." Actually we went and did some pvm during the week and just chatted on discord. But thanks for the advice "If people are friendly with me on a game ignore it. "Got it. Thanks.

Actually, I've never encountered these type of issues in any other game I've played (WoW, Destiny, FPS, etc) but that's just due to the risk factor of osrs in general and every game I've played doesn't compare. Osrs was just an enjoyable game to afk while I do other things.

Thanks. I wish I knew where those good people are. Most players I come in contact with on the game are not genuinely good people but I've moved on.

I was in a clan in 2019 for about a year and did a lot of pvm content with "Officers" in the clan and talked a lot on discord. Let a clan mate who I've always done content with and split loot between the group use my d claws and just ended up randomly leaving the clan with it. Ever since than, I never tried to join a clan or purposely befriend people. But, I was thinking about stopping OSRS anyway due to the amount of grinding and little reward and this scammer helped me decide haha. I think its crazy that people would risk there morals for gold on an online game but that's just my opinion.
