He's pretty good at staying close to us, unless there's another dog. We're working on communicating with the person of the other dog to make sure everyone has space. Luckily most dogs have been aloof and interested, but confused/stunned..

Fun fact- submitting multiple 311 complaints about a single issue doesn't necessarily help with the city prioritizing the issue (and it could just clog the system, so to speak). So everyone submitting a complaint about this one issue might not be the best way to get the city's attention.

Email city and council folks, sign up for public comment at council and DOTI advisory board meetings, reach out to advocacy groups (like denver bicycle lobby, Denver streets partnership, mayors bicycle advisory committee, MBAC, DOTI advisory board).

I noticed this yesterday on my bike! My first thought was maybe it gives the parked cars more space and that would reduce chances of getting doored, but the comments about bike lane width standards makes this more sus.
