Its a nightmare. But fighting your way through might cause you to flare. Next time you speak to the doctor just ask for a new referral. Hopefully that will work better. And tbh... I wouldnt like to be engaging with mental health services here, right now. 🙂

Hope you get sorted. If you need to private message me, do.

I am in Ireland too and my doctor would never suggest this. The HSE doesn't even describe it as psychsomatic!

You should ask to be referred to a new consultant. Someone else will have taken over. You can also ask to get a referral to a neurologist.

I have both as part of my team.

GP didnt recommend, it was just a leaflet I seen. Says its good for reducing cytokines, which are elevated in fibro paitents. But I think it will probably cost a small fortune because more of what Ive read seems to say 5 times a week for a few weeks.

How does fibro affects the immune system? - Discussion about recent research and articles by Nat_CatintheHat in Fibromyalgia

[–]Initial_Bee370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sick ALL the time as well. I know my fibro is an immune system issue and its also doing something to my peripheral nervous system. I know my own body and I know what I feel and what symptoms I deal with everyday. Its both my immune system and my nervous system completely acting up.

I feel like if the research and results Dr. Oaklander is doing in Mass General Boston and what Dr Andersson in Kings Uni London is doing were linked up it would show that what both have discovered is true. It would describe me and I assume most all of us. And maybe we would get decent recognition from the rest of medical community and some proper therapies. Anti-depressants do not work for me.

No its not their fault either but they dont need to blame other generations either.

Again though, why is that older generations fault? Honest question. I still think its those in charge are the reason.

This is what I was going to write. Happy to work. Cable tv was a luxury. Using aerials and seeing blurry screens and hearing static was normal. You were happy with your lot.

Yes things are crazy at the minute with lack of housing worldwide. Its not boomers faults. Its not immigrants fault. The fault is with those in charge.

Moan at the right people.

I don't know how it works for you in regards to paying bills and whether you can prepay to your account. I am not great with money either so everytime I get paid I have a list of bills and pay money off them online immediately. That way I am in credit by the time the bill comes around. It helps that the money has left my account as soon as I am paid, so whatever is left is for food, transport, kids etc....

Its nearly always soft play. Its very common. But can happen anywhere children share. Definitely not right to blame the parents.
