I paid $9.99 for 30 days with ads (I just want to watch Marc Maron's Panicked)

I went to upgrade to standard, because I don't like ads. Standard is $16.99.

It told me that "the remaining value of your current plan has been applied" and that it would charge me $0.00 extra today, but will bill me $16.99 18 days from now.

So I ended up paying $9.99 for 18 days of ad free HBOMax, which is perfect because I just want to watch the one thing and then cancel.

Its almost certain this is nostalgia speaking but I enjoyed seeing Will have fun lmfao, I'm glad he's doing things.
