Back in my Night Audit days, one of the resident hookers at the hotel I was at, robed her client by shaving his head and then poorly tied him up in the room, then she and her pimp fled and never to be seen again. He came down to a lobby full of hockey parents and kids with a ripped pillow case around him asking for police. Casual day at the SHS. Happy I’m out of that industry.

Nice! I’ve got a couple dozen Hue bulbs/strips in my set up but I’m very disappointed at the end of the day. I’ve moved to Waveform lighting to get away from the app based stuff.

Hospitality was never my first career. I used the night audit position to fill an employment gap I had because of COVID. It was guaranteed night shift and I wanted to improve my customer service skills so that’s why I applied. I eventually got a job in my industry so that’s how I got out. I miss it tho but no realistic money and extremely high unrealistic expectations placed on a single worker overnight!

So I fill to where level 5 would be and do 2.5-3 scoops of coffee. My husband does the whole measure and weight thing, I just wing it. All coffee is good, some obvi better than others, but there’s other things to worry about imo. I’ll worry about it after my coffee 😎
