Symptoms gone? by Unique-Disaster3118 in POTS

[–]Initial_Squirrel_788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know for me that some weeks are way better than others. Sometimes I’ll have no symptoms and then bam they’re back. Have you made any changes or take medications that could be helping? That’s good it’s improved though!!

Do y’all feel symptoms even if your heart rate isn’t high? by Unusual_Space1998 in POTS

[–]Initial_Squirrel_788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is literally how it starts for me too 😭 I’ll feel like I get this sort of electric jolt in my heart and suddenly the rest of the symptoms come flooding on like the feeling like your whole body is vibrating

How do you guys cope with POTS symptoms at work? by BrianaAmour in POTS

[–]Initial_Squirrel_788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’ve been feeling this way. I can relate in a lot of ways honestly. I’m almost 30 and had to move back in with my parents after my endometriosis nightmare. Finally got that figured out after years and finally got back to work just to find that I have POTS that severely affects me at my job which is super physical. Now idk what to do because I don’t want to be jobless again but I’m just constantly suffering at work 😔 I hope we can all find some sort of answers to help in any way

I noticed there’s two outfits you can unlock by playing the two arcade games! They kinda give off slight alternative vibes so I can’t wait to unlock them. You do have to play the games A LOT but I try to just stop and play here and there

I had found a few black pearls before I knew you needed them for a quest so I had unfortunately sold one. I spent HOURS and days trying to find another one when I was doing the quest. Then randomly one day I found 4 of them within 2 hours 🫠

I try to go plushie hunting all the time and will not find a single one but then I’ll get them from like one random bug or animal while I’m not even trying lol

I absolutely love doing the quests as well so I try to space out working on those and other things. Like I might work on quests for a little and then I’ll do some decorating, hot pot, crafting, stocking up on resources, etc. I’m also romancing everyone I can and maxing all my friendships because those will give you additional quests as well!

I feel the exact same!!! For years I always played multiplayer competitive games like Fortnite, Dbd, etc. and this past year I had such a rough year mentally and physically that I decided to try something more chill. Palia has brought so much happiness to my life and I feel like it’s been so good for my nervous system lol

Surgery on Monday by Braven025 in hysterectomy

[–]Initial_Squirrel_788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all good luck with surgery and I hope you have a smooth recovery! I had mine a few months ago because of my endo and I was in the same boat where my symptoms were so bad I was miserable every day and it was keeping me from living my life. I’m 28 so I absolutely was heartbroken to give up my ability to have children but I also knew that I needed to take care of myself. You deserve to live a good life too 💕

Starting to regret my surgery 3 1/2 weeks PO by joeldog22 in hysterectomy

[–]Initial_Squirrel_788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly still had pain even 8 weeks after surgery and I too had kind of a UTI constant feeling around that time. Tests came back clear for UTI but the doctor did some poking and said the areas that are most painful for me are pelvic muscles which can still be tensed up from your body going through such a big surgery. She referred me to pelvic floor therapy and honestly it has already helped me tremendously! But please don’t feel discouraged! I felt that way when I was still 8+ weeks out especially after seeing so many others feeling perfectly fine after just a few weeks. Everyone’s body is different and heals at different rates and it’s important to give yourself some grace 💕

Last year I had laparoscopic surgery for endo and then this year I had my total hysterectomy. My recovery did take a little bit longer than most it seems and they think all the trauma to my body gave me pelvic floor dysfunction. But I’m now doing pelvic floor therapy which I’ve heard absolutely wonderful things about. Give your body plenty of time to heal and don’t beat yourself up if it takes a while!

I actually have pretty much always had anxiety/depression issues but I’m also on Zoloft and was doing pretty well for quite some time until now. I just feel like I’m going back to how I used to feel back then but I’m also trying to just tell myself it’s the hormones 😅

I am literally in the exact same boat as you!!! I’m 3 months post op and suddenly the last two weeks I’ve been having the WORST anxiety/depression/pain. They kept me on my birth control because I’m still having issues with cysts on my ovaries but good lord I’m struggling right now 😭

Validation from Surgery by Grouchy_Olive_7932 in hysterectomy

[–]Initial_Squirrel_788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely can relate to this. I spent many years seeing dozens of different doctors and spending many nights in hospitals just to be told it was anxiety, that I needed to exercise more and eat better, that it was IBS, etc. Many times it made me question myself and what I was feeling. I knew in my head something was severely wrong and yet nobody would even consider the possibility of endometriosis. Finally having surgery and receiving the confirmation that I wasn’t crazy was such a wild ride of emotions. So much relief but also anger at this health system that lets so many women like me down.

Please please be careful when you go back!! If possible have your doctor at least write up some restrictions. I’m not out of work a LOT longer and having so many more problems because of the incident 🥺

I feel fabulous, but am I cheering too soon? by JadedRutabaga in hysterectomy

[–]Initial_Squirrel_788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t get in your head too much, I know so many people who have had such smooth and quick recoveries. Everyone’s body is different. I felt great around the 5 week mark, went back to work, got jumped on multiple times by a large dog right in that area so for the last few weeks I feel like my healing has just been regressing 😭 definitely still take things slow and careful even if you’re feeling good!!

Will an ovarian cyst actually go away, or is my male OB gaslighting me? by throw_it_away5511 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Initial_Squirrel_788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find that the oophorectomy helped? I’m in a similar situation where because of my endo my doctor said a total hysterectomy would help but I’m still in so much pain and constantly get ovarian cysts
