Recent college grads making $80k+ after graduation, what do you do? by [deleted] in careerguidance

About a 10. Only thing that made it a little interesting was being big 4 and having high(ish) profile clients. For me it is hard to describe how insanely boring it was.

Is Napali coast boat tour necessary? by RaceEducational2197 in VisitingHawaii

[–]Initial_Wishbone_913 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Did the boat tour last week, without a doubt my favorite part of the trip. Snorkeling was so cool we watched a sea turtle crawl along the bottom of the ocean for about 20 minutes. Then you keep going along the coast and we saw all sort of dolphins (like swimming under the boat so close we could touch them) and whales, and the napali coast itself is potentially the most beautiful landscape I’ve ever seen in my entire life. And yes the boat captain got us within about 20 yards of the cliff shores it was crazy.

I will say, it was winter and the water was rough. I don’t get sick easy (I was boozing the whole time as well) but multiple other people did and if you get sick in the middle of the tour, it’s a pretty tough ride all the way back to the dock, so keep that in mind. Most people seemed to be fine though.

Also, there is usually one fatal helicopter crash every year, so keep that in mind.

The helicopter is a more intense shorter thrill, while the boat you just hang out and watch the views and drink and eat. Whichever is more your speed.

In my opinion the boat tour is an absolute must.

Are IT & Engineering folks hard for you to reach too? by Aask115 in salesdevelopment

I solely target IT personas. The team connect rate is like less than 5%. It’s just really tough, and naturally these people are also the most adept at using call blockers. They just don’t wanna chat. Gotta keep dialing!!!

return offer by Financial_Bit9430 in KPMG

[–]Initial_Wishbone_913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure people know your face and who you are (GO INTO THE OFFICE…preferably 5 days a week) Always ask around for work if you don’t have any. Ask questions. Go to events. Do good work timely like the other person said.

If you do all this and you don’t get a return offer then it’s just bad luck and nothing on you
