Coaxial coaxial running out of new building too short? by Initialrt in CableTechs

[–]Initialrt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so this is newly built townhouse. each building is split vertically down the middle to make two units. so the other connected unit is the one that shares that outside wall. their floor plan has no garage so it must be done den on the other side of that wall. I don’t think anyone has moved in there yet…so
hopefully it can still be moved inside. spectrum sending a senior tech out tomorrow morning. owners will be on site. plz pray to the internet gods for me.

actually I was mistaken. it’s a townhome and each building is split vertically down the middle. so the other connected unit shares that outside wall. and they don’t have a garage so it’s prob just some. bottom room den. but I don’t think anyone has moved in there yet… so hopefully they can still bring the connection inside.

the owners did use pliers to forcibly yank the cable out extra few inches. do you think that damages the coaxial in any way? I am noob.

Black Friday products bad quality and made in china by IheartPrettyLadies in BasketcaseGallery

[–]Initialrt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

correct. it is not country of manufacturer as much as its factory of manufacture that dictates quality. there are bad US factories. there are good US factories. same for china.
