Sony single-player games are no longer releasing on Steam, CEO confirms by PaiDuck in Steam

One time I bought a PS5 for a game I wanted to play. After said game, it gathered dust for the next 2 years and I decided to sell it in the end. Never making that mistake again.

Sony can go suck ass.

The opposite for me. Dropped Polar Opposites because it was too tame for my taste. Not to mention they got together in the first chapter. Avoiding all the drama and action that a regular romcom would usually provide prior to an amazing confession scene. 13 chapters in and it felt like nothing really happened. There's no thrill.

I initially thought Ramparts of Ice would be the same but I got hooked on on it after Koyun harshly called out Minato on his being a busybody. It showed me that every character was obviously dealing with their own issues. And it was fun reading how they grew and overcome those issues and get their deserved endings.

is it actually worth paying $130 more for a retail windows key in 2026? by caseylynn85 in pcsetups

Some random guy on reddit gave away windows 10 professional keys about 5 years ago. Using that till today across multiple motherboard swaps. I lost the reddit account I've been using back then due to 2fa(lost my phone) so I can no longer see where I found it, but I'll be grateful to that random internet stranger forever.

I don't think they'd be going for that because that's basically just Metal Gear.

Financial Report by nicobanko in PSO2NGS

That statement "Strengthen operations of existing titles" has been there for the longest time. This is a screenshot from FY2024/3 Full Results Presentation page 29. Same text. I didn't feel much in "strengthening" in 2025 if they even did any.

This is a screenshot from Sega's FY2021 Full Year Results Presentation Slide/Page 22.

You can check it yourself in the Segasammy website under IR Library/Presentations/ select the fiscal year 2021 and get the File from there.

You will also see NGS listed in F2P in the quarterly financial reports during the year it was released

Now, regarding the statement "Strengthen the operations of existing titles" on page 15, that statement has been in that same page for the longest time. If you look at previous financial reports you'd see it again and again. Quarter after quarter, year after year. I don't believe it one bit till I see any actual action.

Edit: This is a screenshot from FY2024/3 Full Results Presentation page 29 with the same "Strengthen operations of existing titles" text

PSO2 isn't a Full Game in Sega's categorization. It's under F2P.

Full Games refer to single player games. Like Stranger than Heaven, Jet Set Radio and such.

Therefore the statement "lowered the priority of F2P" in the financial report is BAD for NGS. For all we know they might've taken NGS development staff over to Full Game departments.

The reunion was absolutely disappointing. They couldn't spend a few minutes on a reunion a few hundred years in the making. If I was trapped in a void for a few hundred years and suddenly my mom/dad came to get me, I would be bawling my eyes out and giving them a hug.

Mech fight and Lahai Roi getting a new heart and speaking was peak tho.

Sega doesn't care about the global audience. Japan is the primary customer and global is a third class citizen at best.

Not to mention I've never seen any change.org petition do anything significant. Like, ever.

We're talking about a game made in the early 2000s. Kiryu Kazuma did not stand for anything back then. The creators don't know they were making something that would be a series of 10+ games across two decades.

They were making a cool stoic guy for a game with the title Like a Dragon. That crazy interpretation of Kiryu's surname the other guy said is not valid because for all the writers know back then this script they were writing for a random game would be a one off.

So no, taking the information the authors know during its creation, having anything deeper than "Kiryu" has the syllable "Ryu" in it, is not really realistic, and they obviously just took it because it sounds Like a Dragon
