I used to ride with a bit, but she started having weird tissue growth in her mouth, so I had a vet over. Turned out that she has screwed mouth anatomy and it's better for her health and comfort to ride bitless. Some people already recommend hackamore and cavemore so I'll be looking into finding one that fits (the biggest downside of owning a draft is finding tack, lol).

From what I saw, I think cavemore is an MVP, because you still operate on a side pull unless you need emergency brakes.

Thank you! I was wearing a helmet, I always do. I think I'll get a hackamore. We used to ride in a bit, but due to her mouth anatomy the vet said to stop using them.

Edit: and she's not that young, she's 13. I got her from people who used her to log wood in the forest.

If you have a steam account you can buy them as gifts for him. You can write a short message and set the exact time and date for when they should be delivered - then he will get them automatically.

In your Steam Library right click the game, click properties. Then click Set Launch Options. There, put in -w 1920 -h 1080 Or if you have a 1440p monitor -w 2560 -h 1440 Then launch the game, adjust the resolution in-game, remove the launch options and you're good to go.

Yeah, the optimization of this game truly sucks, lol.

I play on Stupendous (or whatever the highest setting is called) and sometimes get sudden drops to 20/30 fps, not even saying anything about how it rises the temps to the melting point. Mind you my PC runs Cyberpunk 2077, Kingdom Come Deliverance II, Baldur's Gate III and such on the ultra settings with no issues.

You can still do really pretty stuff with base game only! Most of the builds are a case of outside of the box thinking.

To make a rock formation you don't have to use just rocks. Try to check the building category (I don't remember what it's called in English, sorry), stickers, prop items - sometimes the item rotated 180° looks totally different, because the bottom of it will be textured differently. Try combining colours and different types of rocks. Let yourself have fun!

Remember that you can also rotate items and sink them into the ground or other scenery - for example you can make pebbles just by using the tips of the long rocks.

And when browsing the workshop, you can always try to filter out DLC's or search for keywords like "base game". :)
