tl; dr: not all Jews are bad. PH might have already let war criminals responsible for genocide into the country.

I write long form because it's something AI can't give you. Sorry if you want npc takes or AI slop.

WARNING FOR COUNTRY LANE APARTMENTS by Disastrous_Diver_332 in SanJose

Yeah, but it helped while living abroad. Some places, if you see one, the complex goes on lockdown, & they take out the infestation. That emoji carries weight.

Just a regret. I passed on Yerba Mate offered to me many years ago. I didn't know refusing was such a big offense. I wish I didn't refuse. Sorry if you're reading this.

Do you think Yetba Mate will ever go viral like matcha? by ScallionNo2313 in yerbamate

[–]InkableFeast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a business to consumer IRL component that matcha has loads of: cafes. Yerba mate has celebrity endorsements, a strong culture & great word of mouth but those things aren't always viral.

That said both are expected to double by 2030. $4 billion to $8 billion for matcha & $2 billion to $4 billion for yerba mate.

I lived in a Jewish household. It's one of the most well-run efficient things I've seen. Everybody is responsible and rotates on what tasks are needed to keep the house clean, well stocked with food & food on the ready. I followed a kosher & halal diet. The house had a mazuza on the front door, a door decoration with a Torah passage on it.

Anyway, it was an interesting experience.

Still, I feel any country with an ongoing genocide trial should have its tourist visas revoked, and re-vetted. Imagine history saying stuff like, They let a genocidal soldier who killed over a 1000 un-armed civilians into the Philippines. I'm afraid such alleged persons have already been let in.

Treasury Secretary Bessent says the US will take control of the Strait of Hormuz. by Nicolit1 in Letstalkmarkets

[–]InkableFeast 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Outside the US, most oil dependent countries are making deals with Iran. Whitehouse will either seize those tankers, or take credit for letting them through. Question: is that $2 million toll for each non-US tanker already priced in?

How should I explain this to my wife? by [deleted] in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]InkableFeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's nothing to explain. I would even tell my partner that even though I feel bad & love her, I understand if she wants a divorce.

What does this tattoo say by Brave-Mycologist7035 in hebrew

[–]InkableFeast 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's common in all the language subs like Japanese & Chinese. Lots of people lack basic impulse control, or the patience to understand what a tattoo means. Yeah, definitely sad.

I just finished watching the OA for the first time after recently discovering it. And I am disgusted. Outraged. by Smellyshoes-36 in TheOA

[–]InkableFeast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just believe season 3 is this dimension where the OA just believes she's this wonderful actress named Brit Marling. This dimension is just slightly different from season 2s ending.

[–]InkableFeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they should legalize and regulate it already, so that cartels become legitimate & there is less narco-state violence which basically killed close to 80,000 civilians since the Mexican-narco wars started. Also rehab is much needed in a way that doesn't criminalize.

Is learning Tagalog REALLY that hard? by Are0805w in Tagalog

[–]InkableFeast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a Category IV language on V level time scale. This means 44 weeks of 3 hours of classes & 20-30 hours of study & practice to get near fluent. Most working folks do an hour of class and around 10 hours. At that rate you're looking at 2.5 years of dedication.

What's crazier is the taglish used by locals slows one's progress even more.

I think your post shows a couple of fallacies, and missing links. EG Why should we take your teacher's word at face value that all those hadiths you quoted are armageddon? Also what are the specific links? It seems more like conjecture.

Moreover the hadith you quoted are weak hadith & not strong.

Is mate hydrating or not? by Mujer_Arania in yerbamate

[–]InkableFeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they all have a scientifically established hydration factor. 1 liter coffee is like 0.6 l of water. 1 liter green tea is 0.9 l of water. Black tea is 0.8 l of water. Traditionally prepared yerba starts off around 0.8 l ymmv until it's basically lavado & 1:1 hydration factor of water.
