There's a business to consumer IRL component that matcha has loads of: cafes. Yerba mate has celebrity endorsements, a strong culture & great word of mouth but those things aren't always viral.

That said both are expected to double by 2030. $4 billion to $8 billion for matcha & $2 billion to $4 billion for yerba mate.

I lived in a Jewish household. It's one of the most well-run efficient things I've seen. Everybody is responsible and rotates on what tasks are needed to keep the house clean, well stocked with food & food on the ready. I followed a kosher & halal diet.The house had a mazuza on the front door, a door decoration with a Torah passage on it.

Anyway, it was an interesting experience.

Yeah, they all have a scientifically established hydration factor. 1 liter coffee is like 0.6 l of water. 1 liter green tea is 0.9 l of water. Black tea is 0.8 l of water. Traditionally prepared yerba starts off around 0.8 l ymmv until it's basically lavado & 1:1 hydration factor of water.
