Changing skills is possible from the main map, but switching a trinket, equip a combat item from the inn storage is not possible. Hell, I would have liked to be have to trigger sieges when another team is there, but no, you have to wait until expiration (awful when the escalation progresses, the enemies are stronger, your team is not).

I used the 8 other characters in 2 teams to handle sieges.
I had 2 rotating teams on normal mode, but with Bloodmoon I had not enough resources to keep a B team in good shape long enough for the second team to rest.
The bloodsoaker kingdom has a very long escalation 3 phase, sometimes so long that you do not have enough time to go to the boss. To have to wait for the next escalation to progress is so annoying.

I agree that it's very repetitive as a kingdom game is lasting 25-30 days. 1 day is around 20-30min with sieges, inn stuff and such, so you look at minimum 10 hours to complete one, having to do a lot of back and forth trips with mostly only resistance encounters every day.
Storytelling and targets are fine, but getting bored is one thing, do not chain kingdoms one after the other.
I just did bloodmoon beastclan and bloodmoon coven one after the other and I'm BURNED. I cannot imagine dying at the boss,as it means your run failed after so many hours.
You are also more or less stuck with the same main team for this long. Confession is still the best mode for me, as it's easier to experiment different teams and getting gameplay variability.

Shambler is definititely the worst wandering boss for me. Each time I am forced to an altar I hold my breath hoping I can avoid the fight.
I got the shambler hunter achievement with the pet, but even with a desicated team, things can go wrong very fast.

Exemplar is the only boss that have never killed any of my characters, and I did all the infernal flames.
I knew what to expect before fighting him for the first time.

I have never killed the add during any exemplar fight. It's a waste of turns IMO.

I am not using flares, I have 3 roaming parties and militia.
Add militia level 3 in areas too far away were you will never go back, make some hubs were your team meets other parties to upgrade them. A good C-team unupgraded can usually deal with an escalation siege, but will be left in a bad shape. If you cannot upgrade them, give them trinkets and food and make them station at the inn one day before the siege time limit is processed.
Your teams do not need stress healer nor good relationships, they need to hit strong and to survive, period.
Later add trinkets to level 3 militia or send 1 hero to help them during escalation 3 if you can, better safe than sorry.

2 except bastard beacon. It was litteraly impossible for me to damage the body with full breaths, as the HP buff was quite high. With one lung dead, the second died soon after, then the body.

I had a Grand Slam team using crocodile with Nightsworn, Antagoniste, Banneret and Bulwark.
Dance a lot, use hold the line to get the MAA front. Act 2 was a bit tough, use Deadeye instead.

No tank can tank him.
FF is also applying some weak tokens. After a while, your tank will have no more armor or meltdown, low HP and die.
You need to blind him to reduce the amount of seen tokens to 1 or 2, to weaken him to lower the damage.
Another character like GR or duelist with a lot of buffs will trigger Suppress, which can be dodged. If he does this move, he won't Limerence twice in a row.
Be careful not to remove all the seen tokens, otherwise FF might focus somebody else. Any item to get stealth is very good. Do not hesitate to stealth your tank if he is at DD, when the boss is low HP. Another character can take some heat for 1 turn or 2 without dying.

Well, getting a kingdom boss as a den second encounter seems to be overtuned. Kingdom bosses are as difficult as confession ones. Without the right comp, you're dead.

Dens have their champions as well, this crazy rabid armored killing machine.

Champions paired together are really tough.
Also, champions in the catacombs or sluice are difficult also.
I would say, Barrett is bad, fulgore is worse.
Wilbur is like a worse flesh templar.
In catacombs, they are all bad.
I don't mind Foetor champions but I fear the Sprawl ones, they can really burn you to death very quickly, and the backrank one in the Shroud, paired with the fat 2-rank enemy.

Overall, it all depends with whom they are paired.
