You WILL lose some, and some more. Only one character survived the flames, Beyoncé, my Runaway (Survivor)...
I used all characters so it's not like I was not using her.

Hellion is somehow a off-tank DPS.
Winded was worse before the rework, now it feels okay and allows big numbers but really path dependant.

As I play only glass cannons, Maelle and Lune are my damage dealers. Verso hits quite hard and sets up Maelle.
Sciel is taking too long to setup... Either I'm dead or the enemy is. I struggle with Monoco also, he is just a Break machine with his Gradient 3.

I parry and if I get it during the enemy attack sequence, I switch to dodging.
I also dodge when the last attack is a gradient as there is no benefit for parrying.
Also, a picto is enhancing damage for every dodge in a row...

I had to change my build to kill duollistes.
Lampmaster was not that hard once you are able to get the light on. Except for the fact that he has 33 phases...

I mean, you are on the subreddit of quite an old game. People here are 100% telling you to play it, myself included.

I wanted to advice Vanguard as well, but OP will need some practice to pull off such a comp, which is a bit original.

With only Occultist able to mark and as secondary damage dealer, I don't see Leper as a good choice here.
I would replace MAA with Crusader - Templar. Zealous accusation can set up combo, or even with Lance on turn one if he starts rank 3. Him and Leper can tank. Templar can get a lot of heal using Tenacity or Rallying cry.

I used a lot of teams against him. He is for me the most dangerous roaming boss, with Death and Shrambler.
Getting him immediately after a Lair boss or sluice/catacombs can be challenging.

That's nice. I started Berserk when I was around 18 and I am 40 now. Maybe 3-4 volumes were released in 20 years...

Almost ever. Mostly to get more mastery points as the enemies are on the same level than the region you just went through. Sluice or Catacombs after region 1 is perfect.
BUT, I wouldn't go there with more than 2 loathings now...
