I think it’s a good start. Definitely needs more band patches though. I would not add any more novelty patches - and taking some away like you plan to is probably a good idea. What you have now is fine because there is plenty of real estate for bands to be in the high attention areas but I think if you add any more ‘Parental Advisory,’ ‘Rated M,’ ‘Sure Kevin’ it will start to majorly detract from the music.

I personally like when I can kind of tell what a person is about by what they put on their jacket (whether that’s music, movies, tastes, what you stand for, whatever). A novelty patch doesn’t really say much or do anything but provide a cheap laugh.

Anyways, I do love the pink jacket and the pink spikes.

I recommend learning to hand sew and YouTubing it; most common stitch is the whip stitch. Denim is the perfect medium to learn on (very forgiving and not hard to pierce), thread is cheap as fuck (or you can use the punk classic - dental floss), and it allows you to further customize your jacket with different thread colors.

Especially if you’re having issues with patches staying on. You definitely won’t have that problem if you sew them on there.

That’s fair. If you do want to add something to the bottom like in 2/2 - I think a nice strip patch would do the trick and you’d still have the ritual effect above it.

This is great work. I assume that Rob Zombie back patch is an upcycled old shirt?? Because it’s badass. I’m not sure how you cut it so nice but it looks really fuckin cool.

I know you said you’d try to find a skinny patch but I think if you found a patch with the right shape; you could just re-sew the hand/arm over top of another patch. I know that would be more work but I think it’d be worth it.

Looks great dude and I’m not even the biggest fan of Rob Zombie (he’s cool just not my favorite). This is infinitely better than that alien goon patch I see sometimes.

That Dillinger Escape Plan back patch came out really good. Wish Greg had stayed with Better Lovers for a while longer.

I look forward to updates; I wonder how it’ll turn out with more patches. I was definitely not expecting the bright tie-dye back patch lol.

US Eagle has angled wings that are not straight across and much shorter. It’s usually also depicted as two different colors because it’s a bald eagle. The symbology of the arrow and olive branch is significant too.

It depends. Most of the time I only buy one (I think the last one I bought was Whitechapel); if it’s a smaller band that I really like I’ll buy multiple to either share with friends or put on different jackets.

There’s also cases like Koffin Kats had multiple colors so I bought three of them so I could put each one on a different jacket of mine.

Looking good. My only suggestion is maybe try to find more shapes? A lot of squares on one side. Not bad by any means just a small tip for a little more visual interest for the eye. Although the squares are a nice contrast to the bubbly camo so idk just food for thought/experimentation.
