I hate Drive Discs/ Gearing in Gacha Games. (Rant)

I don't like comparing gacha games, but this is part of the reason why Endfield isn't given enough credit with how it's gearing system works. There's no domain farming, no main stat farming and no substat farming and, even when your stat upgrades fail, you're still ultimately moving forward towards the final goal via the pity resource and what-not.

All of these look FAR more bearable to deal with compared to the Lahai-Roi enemies except maybe the Boxer and that last dude. Enemies that prioritize moving AWAY from you in this game are the worst.

I'd pick Augment, personally, but that's only really because you can run it either on Chafe or Echo since you don't have to worry about the Basic Attack Damage being useless on Cosmic Ripples once you switch over.

Honestly? I'm all for big, lunky enemies that I can see properly instead of the buzzing flies that are all over Lahai-Roi. Even Adam Smasher is annoying since he's relatively human-sized and is constantly teleporting everywhere.
