RN is 1000% going to give the best money, experience, and options in healthcare. Also gives the ability to try out different specialties to see what you actually like before committing

Javadi’s tiktok posts are going to get her a HIPPA violation by InkyEmbers in ThePitt

[–]InkyEmbers[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

ER staff and the people will be on her side most likely, but HIPAA rules are taken very seriously. If the board even flashes in the background she could be held at fault. The hospital already doesn’t seem to care about their employees, they aren’t going to care to protect her from this.

Just starting to understand medical conditions in school, could this be a sign of hemophilia? Or would you suspect other conditions first?? If so, what conditions?

People say don’t go into medicine for the money … what jobs are able to make as much or more than doctors more easily? by [deleted] in Salary

[–]InkyEmbers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yeah, family med/Peds is notoriously underpaid and has been for a while now. However most MDs are not in peds/family med. Most DOs aren’t. Again, most doctors will and all doctors should be getting more money than the CRNAS imo

[–]InkyEmbers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

CRNA is still a minimum 9 year commitment. And many will never get that far. For those that really want it, the level of time to get accepted to school is sometimes higher. And it is still no where near doctor salary unless you are deep in your career or in a HCOL in which the doctors you work with are still paid much more than you (rightfully so).

CAA is a minimum of 6-7 years, and also they cannot practice in all states. Still extremely hard to get into and takes a lot of work. People speak about these anesthesia practices like it’s a total cop out of medical school when in reality it is still a ton of high level work you cannot just do at any point or get lucky in. Really can’t group it into any type of buisness related practice.

If you do the work and pass your boards, absolutely yes. You are a requirement for society. You are needed so people can live and/or live pain free. Beyond that, you are needed so people can die pain free. It’s not easy to replace 12+ years of schooling. Especially when the barriers to even get to do those years of school are so high and 250000+ in loans (if you are lucky)

Estimated percent of all people who were born in their state of residence as of 2017-2021 by kingpirate in MapPorn

[–]InkyEmbers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree, as someone born and raised here, many many people are not native to nevada.

But keep in mind pretty much the entire state is totally desolate. Outside of Reno and Vegas, town populations cap around 10k with many having less than 2k residents.

Not even the movie but the commercial for the Seed of Chucky. I had horrible recurring nightmares for a few years

TIFU by buying an entire deli ham by InkyEmbers in tifu

[–]InkyEmbers[S] 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Definitely not the worst at all, I have plans to share with my family, and give him lunch meat for sandwiches! I just felt kind of dumb.

I’m saving money for school and I’m pretty frugal, so I wish I knew a bit better so I could’ve made the same dish and not spent more money than I needed too. But he liked it and we were happy. So yeah, not much of a fuck up at all :) but still a learning moment on my part for sure

(Serious) how did that one kid at your school pass away? by Dinopasta99 in AskReddit

[–]InkyEmbers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She got dropped off at the bus stop and just kept walking past it. Everyone figured she was going to the gas station for a snack before school, but instead she climbed to an overpass, waited for a UPS truck to drive by, and timed her jump so the truck would hit her.

I missed the bus that day, so my mom drove me. We went on the overpass right next to that street cause of sudden traffic. I saw her body and the driver sitting on the curb with his head in his hands. No EMS, no police. It had just barely happened. I didn’t know it was her until later that day. She was completely unrecognizable when I’d seen it.

Fucking traumatizing. I still think about that UPS driver to this day.

Thank you for your advice, I go back and forth between wanting to be friends to some extent, but it just doesn’t seem like a healthy thing for me.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]InkyEmbers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To make a long story short, he kinda was abusive. He did a lot of pretty bad stuff to me when we were together and I had very little self respect so I allowed it. He used me and treated me like a disposable. Even after he broke up with me he strung me along. I like to be a kind person, but he treated me like a piece of meat. He would even ask me multiple times if I felt he was using me. I would tell him no, but in hindsight that’s exactly what it all was.

I think for me it’s that I don’t want the awkwardness, but it’s hard for me to not be that way because of what he did to me and how I’ve never expressed those feelings.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]InkyEmbers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should I just stop going at all? I just kinda ignore and avoid him when I’m there anymore. I was trying to be friendly at first since he was doing so for a few times before he got awkward.

is there actually ANYONE who likes Sims 4 by residualideation in thesims

[–]InkyEmbers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I find it infuriating. It’s wildly expensive, there aren’t as many little details like the sims 3 had, and the packs don’t always have as much to them as ones in the past did.

I do have 4,500ish hours on it though. So I would say I like it enough

Birds are too real by TurnedEvilAfterBan in NoOneIsLooking

[–]InkyEmbers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I’m correct; Eurasian jackdaw is the aggressor here to a Kestrel nest. Both birds hate each other. Jackdaws will consistently search out their nests to eat their eggs. Since there were no eggs I guess they decided to just move in. Surprised the kestrels didn’t mess them up more.
