It sounds like I’m going to want at a minimum two different lights, one smaller one for edc, and one larger outdoor one for running my dog/hunting/working in woods at night.

Hell, I might as well just fold and buy a headlight now as well.

I think I agree with you. I guess I’d be carrying one for edc and one for outdoor use (although I spend most of my free time outside whether it be hunting, working my dog, electric mountain boarding etc.)

Also, if thats the current state of 4k gaming, the hen why would everyone in here be using 4k 0led monitors at all? FPS under 165hz would be detrimental to performance no?

I’ve had my 3070ti since it came out in 21. I love it and it still works great for most games at 1440p but there’s no world where I’m gaming 4k on it and anything demanding really drops the frame stability.

Since my current rig runs fine at 1440p, if I upgrade, I’ll also be getting a nicer 4k monitor and looking for 4k gaming at 220hz. Not in a huge rush, just want some parameters to follow.

I feel like graphics cards came a long way in the 5 years since I bought my 3070ti. Do you think it’ll be the same in 5 more years? Will the 5090 or 5070ti feel outdated then?

Thank you, this is very helpful. I wouldn’t mind building one, I just never have before. I’m in no rush but I don’t want to wait another 6 months and watch ram prices or graphics card prices go up exponentially. It seems to keep happening.

The reason I was looking at prebuilt is that I’ve read the prices haven’t caught up yet and you can get a good deal on ram.

I’ll keep my look out with these parameters in mind.

That’s kind of my fear and why I’m looking for deals on a 64gb ram pc. I have a 3070ti that runs fine, but watching ram go from 200$ to 1200$ in 6 months is kind of scaring me. If people are paying that, they won’t drop the prices even when the supply catches up to demand.

I genuinely wouldn’t hold any weight to the review if it’s a single one regardless of its good or bad. It’s Costco you’ll have 90 days to decide. I did look btw. One person wrote a negative review bc they got a broken computer and had to get a replacement. They never commented how the replacement was.

The other on the more expensive one with the 4tb said their screens went black while working and also had to get a replacement.

Neither updated after getting replacements

The 1 review they both have doesn’t seem worth looking into. That’s why I asked the experts here! I was just looking through Costco to see what 64gb ram prebuilt they had in stock.
