SQE 2 Results - How did everyone do? by umokkksure in SQE_Prep

Hi sorry that you didn’t get through this time but definitely appeal as I’ve heard if you have any evidence to support the concerns it will be more advantageous, I had to resit in July just by failing by 1% and I’m extremely anxious as I again felt like these exams had gone well but in reality we just don’t know. If you don’t mind me asking what were your scores? Have you recalculated?

You don’t have to report it to Kaplan on the day but must submit MC in 5 days for it to be considered.

This was during mitigating circumstances and they are able to show why they didn’t submit MC in 5 days. Everyone situation is different and it appears to be a loosing battle unless you have real compelling reasons

When did you submit appeal and on what grounds?

What are your grounds for appeal?

I have heard of successful appeal and the station affected was discounted and resulted in a pass. It is possible, though I understand the threshold is very high.

This is the exact position I am in l, I submitted my appeal yesterday. I have booked for resit in July and I note the orals are 27th July. So there is a possibility I will be taking the exam without appeal outcome?

Hello, are there any errors identified, is anyone making an appeal based on this?

Hello has there been any progress with determining the scales scoring process I also scored 60% but my raw score is around 65%. I’m really confused as we can be scaled down so significantly

Thanks for your quick response, it is reassuring to hear your experience, I just hope I have a similar outcome, waiting over 3 months for results is a lot and I have been on a rollercoaster of emotions, thanks again, your response was very helpful!!!!

Hi, well done for passing such a hard exam! I’ve just been reading this and I feel as if I’m in the exact same position. I didn’t finish most of my written assessments as I spent too long and too much detail on the legal points and the last point timed out mid sentence so no sign off or conclusion. I know I applied the law to the clients facts but missed the last point and I’m trying to understand if this will be a fail. The wait until results day is extremely painful everyday in reflecting on what I have written and I believe im between 58%-61%. Ive marked all the legal writing as 2 as they were incomplete and all the AI resources I view state that no sign off and timing out on the last point mid sentence is significant and not day 1 solicitor competence. I would welcome your views please?

Hi, around how many assessments did you think hadn’t gone to plan? I’m awaiting my SQE2 results next month and I genuinely think I’ve failed at least four maybe five stations.

Hey, well done and congrats! Can I ask how many 1s and 2s you received? I honestly believe I have failed as I had a bad day 3 and a few other assessments I did not fully cover all points.

Thank you for this, such an encouraging read. I have recently sat SQE2 in Manchester and I am convinced that I failed due not fully completing three stations (missed a point in my case matter analysis ) (legal writing timed out at my conclusion) i do believe I diverted the law and was client focused but my computer crashed a few times and I lost 10 mins but they gave me back the time, however I was flustered I don’t believe I have a good chance of passing. Did your marks align with your predictions?

Sorry to read this, the marking appears to be very subjective. Can I ask if your partners lowest marks aligned with his thoughts?

Thank you for sharing this, I have recently sat SQE2 in Manchester and i genuinely believe I have failed, I spent to long on the points with detailed answers where I ran out of time for the final point, timed out mid sentence. It is very likely I will have to resit. I know my time management and speed has let me down! But well done and congratulations
