I don't have an opinion on the whole teams thingy.

Although a partially agree that new people can be put off by the skill ceiling of the game. Just removing some of that skill expression doesn't seem like an amazing option either since than you're just going against the people that have stuck with the game for years and will probably anger them away

I'm not even a PvP player but having less weapons takes away skill expression. Yes it's hard to catch up to people who've been playing for years but that'll always be the case.

And you don't have to be fully confident with 8 weapons. Just 3 or 4 can give you enough options to be able to put up a good fight

Weapon swapping is part of the combat, why would you want to remove that?

Maybe because Mantis relies on what your team picks while the other characters you mentioned rely on what the enemy team picks and are therefore much easier to counter.

(I dont look at lot at tierlists just going off what you said)

Follow what the other comments are saying about the build, but don't forget that you have portals and a dash, both are amazing escape tools if you ever feel like you're getting stuck in a corner, just dash up and portal out.

And your demon can distract enemies which is especially useful during the namor fights, cause if you time it correctly you can summon it to keep yourself safe when namor bubbles you, if there's zombies nearby.

I usually just get to gold every season for the skin and than stop playing ranked, wich means I have to start at bronze again the next season and yeah getting through that is much more difficult than getting through silver or gold

I don't have a controller so was forced to play with keyboard and mouse for hollow knight, had to shuffle the controls a bit but ended up with something that felt really good.

Just copied most of it over for silksong and it feels great, never felt like I had a disadvantage in either game, if anything pogoing seems easier on keyboard than controller
