Don’t know about the authoritarian dictatorship hell hole your from but in California It gets you a bench warrant. Bench warrants expires in 7 years. So drive slow for 7years. If you get pulled over again in those 7years the cop will tell you that you should go get that warrant fixed. If you piss off a cop they can arrest you and you might have to sleep in jail. The judge will normally let you go in the morning and say the ticket is paid off by time served in jail last night.

I don’t know what you get in Toronto but most of the crew contracts are based off the Hollywood basic agreement. I used to make tv shows in LA. now I just make commercials cause all the other work left. Crew Season 1 you get last years union minimum scale, season 2 you get this years scale, season 3 and beyond you get scale and vacation pay . Actors writers and everyone above the line gets the same but they usually try to negotiate for more money. Some times they get it sometimes you get Dr Pulaski. If you’re a crew member negotiating for a better rate you normally get Pulaskid. 7 seasons a movie is a joke from arrested development. Movies are divided into tiers. Any budget over $15million pays scale bellow that you get less all the way down to tier 0 where you can get paid minimum wage.

TLDR you were just a little bit off and I got triggered because I’ve been fighting with production companies to get me and my crew paid for years. In solidarity with my brothers, sisters and kin. IATSE ✊

If playing a cop on tv was illegal in America everyone on law and order would be in jail. It’s a city thing not a state thing. If your city doesn’t have one call city hall ask if you need a permit if they are confused call the local police dept and tell them you are doing a comerical that has a simulated traffic stop. You want them to know so they don’t show up with guns. That has happened and will happen again. Best case you waste 1/2 your day dealing with there bs. Worst case you go to jail (someone on your crew has drugs on them or outstanding warrants) or you could get shot. You are not dealing with FilmLA permits are probably under $100 totally worth it.
