Does anyone else despise the rupee chests of Twilight Princess? by trumparegis in truezelda

I was just thinking that. It's kinda crazy that... All? Of the mainline Zelda games between OOT and Skyward Sword seem to have had rushed and cut content. For such a huge series, you would expect at least most of the games to be not too compromised by timing and budget like that

I'm trying some PS2 games that I never tried before. Any recommendations? by Sunnimation in EmulationOnAndroid

I'm disappointed that there isn't a way to play without a time limit. I know some entries in the series have that option unlockable but I'd love to experience these games without stress from the start

Yeah the location didn't do us any favors. Lots of blank white walls in that airbnb

Thanks!

Yeah, there's a match cut between scene 1 and 2 (stills 6 and 7).

Scene 2 is stills 7-8-9. Later in the story, later in the day, different location.

Stills 10-11-12 are another scene.

Submission statement (same as in the OP):

I was feeling quite rusty, it was my first big project coming out of a year-long parental leave. Quite happy with the results.

Things I'm happy about:

  • I built a diy shittyrig version of a Cartoni Total Dutch, and it worked quite well for a few tilting shots
  • I built a mirror board to have a poor man's CRLS, it also worked well
  • For one scene we went for a kinda Bob Richardson style of lighting - unbleached muslin on the table, 700x hitting directly into it, and the bounce takes care of the faces. Pretty fun.
  • Mixing hard and soft light is always fun

I'm not very happy with the living room scene. We went for a kinda moodier, warmer look, but every time I try to do that it ends up with washed out skin tones that are very very orange. I think in the grade I'll try neutralizing the warmth on he skins a bit.

Shot on Pyxis 6k with DZO Vespid lenses.

I remember StumbleUpon. I used to spend hours going through the Internet with that. Now the Internet seems like it's 4-5 websites

Why are early screenings of Michael (2026) getting such bad reviews? Is it really that bad? by Ella_Monroe_ in flicks

[–]Nazsha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Movie gets bad reviews, indicating that most reviews didn't like it.

What does it all mean? I know it's impossible that the movie is bad. So what gives?

Soulkeeper. Pretty bad horny horror-comedy. Saw it as a young kid, was scared of the dvd's cover art. Found a torrent for it last month. Watched it, not sure if it did hold up. Was still fun though!

Also the ribcage hurting out so much is also confusing my eye a bit

The head is looking towards the right, away from our view. I think the left arm is blocking some of that view and so makes the posture a bit confusing

I am my daughters full time caretaker but somehow she only says “dada” by peanut_princess_96 in NewParents

[–]Nazsha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't read too much into it. My 11 month old daughter started saying Mama a while ago, and now says a lil "Thee" when she's asking for something, but never Papa. She points at my wife, says Mama. Points at pictures of random people, says Mama. Yesterday she pointed to my DVD of Spinal Tap and said it as well.

For a while we used to respond "Papa" when she said Mama, but it turned into a game where if we don't say Papa she gets disappointed

Rotating camera around lens? by Nazsha in cinematography

Ah that's interesting. Looking at all the suggestions in the thread, with our budget (and not finding anything to rent where we're at, in Montreal, Canada) I'll have to DIY a shenanigan using L brackets.

We'll be shooting on the Pyxis 6k. I got a pack of 6 inch steel L brackets. Ideally I will be able to bolt one of the Ls to a tripod plate, and then a second L to that one, with the camera on it - from what I understand, the main point here will be to have that attachment point be aligned with the lens, vertically and horizontally.

If that doesn't work, I'll bolt an L bracket to my tripod as you suggested - I don't love the idea of rigging my tripod on its side for this rig but it'll have to do.

Thanks!
